I can't fault the hospitality or the view. Sadly though, the condition of the apartments and the general premises is an eyesore. The driveway and gardens are overgrown with grasses and general foliage that seemingly haven't been cared for in quite some time. As for the apartments themselves, regular maintenance and basic upkeep appears to be non-existent. The entire premises needs a good scrubbing, a new paint job and a completely new fitout of lighting, tapware, shower-screens, fly-screens and furniture. Without a major facelift and investment, unfortunately these apartments can only be rated as "basic" at best.

My family and I spent 11 nights in the two bedroom cottage in January. We liked the location, privacy and views the cottage offered. Inside was neat and tidy and good value for money. The only thing we missed was a bbq to cook the fresh fish on.

We were fortunate enough to spend ten days at Callam Court. The first thing we became aware of was the kindness of Jeanette and Brian (hosts) from Brian meeting us at the airport to Jeanette rearranging her day so we didn't need to rush off on the day we left. They were so friendly and nice. The second thing we noticed was the incredible view over the hills and out to sea. Magnificent.!!! The cabin had everything we needed for a self contained holiday. We had a wonderful holiday.

We stayed here for 7 nights, the host, Brian, met us at the airport ( he said he always meets his guests at the airport ). He drove us to our accomodations on our hire car. Free upgrade to unit 1 and the view is just priceless! The room has all we need. We cooked most of our meals. Our breakfast always on the verandah over looking the Ocean and the hills, Gorgeous, Beautiful and just priceless! Don't forget to close the doors before dark otherwise the mozies will disturb your sleep. The bed is comfortable and the pillows are so soft. Everything just what we need. The hot shower is just refreshing. Highly highly recommend it. We will be back for sure! Rod and Juliani ( Brisbane )

Brian met my daughter and myself at the airport where our hire car was parked then we followed him to the apartment ... Apartment #3 has a king size bed and single bed in the same room with a good size wardrobe. The beds and pillows were VERY comfy (I even asked where to buy the pillows from... LOL) .. Lovely woollen blankets ensured we were very warm. Wifi was free and fast, a great way to share pictures and news with those at home. There was also a mobile phone supplied that you could top up with credit and use during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking (if you so desire) and the whole apartment was clean, neat and spacious. The only criticism we had was that it took a LONG time for the hot water to reach the taps and shower but hey... it's not like we were rushing at all. I just didn't like running off so much water while waiting. The views from our verandah were stunning and the chooks n cows wandering around just topped it off! If you want flashy luxury n mod con's maybe it's not for you but if you want somewhere convieniant, clean, comfy, peaceful and friendly then this is the place for you. Highly recommended!
