Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location is great, being just a short stroll from the beach and jetty, and even closer to the pub. The house is nice and full of character. Rooms are very comfortable, with a shared bathroom/toilet just down the hall.
When we visited, the pub had only been open for a week (after shutting down for COVID) and had not yet started serving meals again. So for dinner we went to a great highway diner about ten minutes away. We opted for breakfast at the B&B, but the resulting cold omelettes and bits of toast did not seem worth the $15 charged per serve.

I slept very well in this quiet town with few visitors. The house is very clean and well organised. I was disappointed that nobody came to say hello even though I suspect the owners were in another part of the house. Entry is by numerical key pad with instructions in English by email. I suspect that foreigners would find the detailed instructions difficult to understand. Take your own food to cook in the kitchen as there is no other food available in the town. Nearest food is 40 km round trip away.

If you like very old, vintage, full of ornaments, mix and match quaint furniture, and shared bathrooms , this is for you!
The rooms are nice but quite dark. You have a fridge and tv that worked on and off.
The “ dining lounge” ,as in hallway ,would be fab if in a separate room but quite difficult to use and find what’s available.
The bathroom is large and clean. Too many written rules for us. The area is supposed to be very safe but the locks/ doors are quite complicated.
Lovely variety of teas and coffee but no fresh milk so bring your own!

The room was very clean and comfortable. It was more like a spare room in a home which was nice . The bathroom is nearby with tea and coffee but no milk so bring some with you. Be warned there is no food available in town except for Harry’s 15 km towards Port Pirie ( that’s an interesting place and good food ) I left early to have breakfast on the road.
I was double charged for my room but it was corrected when highlighted.

Lovely young couple running two rooms of their house as a bed and breakfast. Basic breakfast but sufice. Short walk to the pub which has no meals (nor accomodation) even though there's a sign that says it does.

Vagabond Historic B&B is surrounded by peace and harmony. The villa locates just 2 minutes walking from the seashore and the famous old wooden jetty and the tide clock.
Walking on the longest wooden jetty and watching stingrays and fishes in the sunset just at the legs of the Flinders Ranges is simply amazing.
The historic villa provides everything you need, nice rooms and dining area with great breaky and optionally dinners too.
Awesome location after your trip from WA and the outback places or for a getaway from Adelaide.
