We spent a week in my nephew's time share, Flat Capri 302 at the Island Club. There were 6 of us, all family members. The flat was beautifully appointed but had not been properly checked over before arrival. The coffee maker was missing the carafe and as we arrived late in the day, we were told that we wouldn't have a replacement until mid morning the next day...obvious issue? The oven had no shelves making it unusable, however these were provided the next day. The second bathroom, not the one in the master bedroom, had a motion-sensored light which would turn off in two minutes if no motion was detected. This was an issue, other than the obvious, because the sensor pointed towards the door and if you were in the shower, it couldn't detect motion, neither would it if you were on the toilet. This was reported to the office on day one but was never addressed or even referred to after our report. The advertised WiFi could only be used effectively in the bedroom opposite the front door and the one next to it. The rest of the apartment was a dead zone. We did get immediate (next day) response for our initial request for service as it was not working at all when we arrived. The technician was helpful in restoring limited access. The secured building front door access frequently didn't work with the swipe key until we watched other tenants just give it a hard tug to gain access, without swiping! Aside from those issues, clearly this development is well situated with easy access to any and all shopping you might want to do. All issues could have been avoided with a little attention to detail on the part of the property maintenance team. Also, it would be best if cleaning crew were assigned on a regular basis to the same apartments. Also, please be sure to secure valuables in the safe. Unfortunately it is a small one so be advised.

It's a bit of a problem when you travel with a group and there's a one and half year old child with you, so we decided to take an apartment, and we were lucky to choose this one. It's just one step away from the canal walk, which is helpful a lot actually, and everything kind of close to you by car. And the thing that made our stay amazing is the breathtaking view of the canal, and the balcony! Made our stay 10 times better! The staff and the security are pretty helpful and nice. We had a good time at it

Visited Cape Town for a few days. Accommodation is always a challenge but staying at the Majorca was value for money. Friendly welcome by Braeden. The apartment was clean and had all the furniture and appliances that made my stay comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this as the place to stay.

I booked to check in 7th May, arrived there at 3pm. 😤😡 absolutely devastated. I've stayed at the apartments in a number of business trips. All trips booked by my travel agent. Usual people on duty weren't there as they know me. This "Rude Rude Person" that manned the desk was unhelpful! My travel agent made the booking paid for 1 night. She further made arrangement with management and send back and front of credit card which she always does. However, the rude person at the desk said i must produce a credit card. I phoned travel agent and she told him of the arrangements and he insisted that i must give him the credit card the bookings was made with. This person was rude and had zero customer service skills and how to handle a client. Even after telling him I am a regular client and he checked the system that I had stayed there 5 times before which was in the past 12 months. I cancelled the booking and left and checked in at the Colosseum another place I usually stay at. Told lady at front desk what happened. She saw I was a regular client. She checked me in and attended to all my arrangements. My travel agent the very next day paid the hotel - Colosseum. Thank You Majorca for nothing - this one bad experience I can tell u lost one regular customer and many others will know of your bad service from a loyal Trip Advisor member!
