Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here one night while in the lake of the Ozarks. They have let the facility go down hill. Our room was fairly clean but there was a musty smell in the room. The bathroom was really small and had mold. The whole facility needs a deep clean. The outside of the hotel is ran down also. The grass needs mowed parking lot is old and cracked. The indoor pool is open and was fairly nice. the pool room needs some paint and updating. The outdoor pool is out of operation. No decent breakfast because of Covid we stayed here on a Monday night and was told the breakfast employees are off on Monday & Tuesday do they offered us a bag with a pastry and fruit. No thank you. This hotel is not up to Choice hotel standards. It is over priced for what you get.

I walked into the room to the overpowering smell of mildew, thinking, "I've been in musty hotel rooms before. I'll get used to it in a few minutes." A few hours passed and it still reeked of mildew. I hung some shirts on the provided hangers, and another hour passed. I wore one of those shirts, and it literally felt like it just came out of the washer. I also noticed that all my papers and receipts felt soggy. When walking barefoot on the carpet, it felt like a damp sponge. My feet were literally sticking to the floor. When getting into bed, the sheets felt like wet towels. I thought that maybe opening the window would help, but it was much too hot. I had to do some work, but the wifi was completely useless, so I had to use my cell data. The wifi maxed out at 3mbps both day and night, i.e., useless for video calls or video streaming. I don't know how this swamp of a building isn't shut down due to public health risk. If you have asthma or a breathing condition, don't even think about it. I wrote a similar, but more condensed review for the hotel's own website, but of course it was filtered out.

My wife, in-laws, and four children stayed only one night. The webpage doe not tell you that the outside pool, the inside hot tub, and gym are not operational due to Covid. The indoor pool is operational however only 10 people allowed at a time. FYI none of the soda vending machines are working.

I had made a reservation- they confirmed it-drove 3 hours to the hotel-the lady at the front desk tells me that they cancled my reservation. My 2 guest was there and tried to check in because they got there 2 hours earlier. The fact that they wouldnt let my people in is something i dont understand when its the room for all of us anyway. They cancle reservations without even letting the people know. JUST GO TO SUPER 8 ITS BETTER. I bet you can guess how angry i was to drive 3 hrs out to have them reject money.

We were a group of 11 in town for the Pub Crawl. All we needed was a comfy bed and a hot shower and Quality Inn was actually a little better than expected. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful and the king bed rooms spacious and comfy. Negative: the pool area/hot tub. There is absolutely nothing to absorb noise and as one member of our party described it, “it’s what it would be like if you dropped a pool in the middle of a Walmart.” It was so loud you had to scream at the person sitting next to you and there were zero towels on the shelves. The chlorine in the air irritated our eyes enough a couple of us couldn’t tolerate it. Pool aside, there was a decent breakfast and super easy check-in and check-out.

You get what you pay for. Friendly desk and helpful. Hotel is run down. Torn curtains. Head of bedskirt very dirty. Bed fair. Sheets clean. Clean bathroom, but rundown. Asked for quiet room so they placed us very far away. We had older party with us so we couldn’t walk to breakfast and had to drive around. Only hotel available at the time. Breakfast fair to poor.

I’ve stayed here two different times. It’s clean, quiet and affordable. Checking in was quick. The breakfast could use a couple more options. It was a cold night for October and the heat worked great! Would stay again.

When I arrived it was 91 degrees outside. I could hardly wait to get in the cool lobby. The lobby must have been 84 degrees. When I ask man behind the desk his reply was, "The thermostat is locked and only the General Manager has a key. He doesn't trust us. I'm sorry but this is as cool as he will allow." I went to my room which was also warm. I turned on the A/C, and went into town. When I came back the room was cool but DAMP. I would take off my shirt at night and the next morning it was still damp. In four days the room was never dry. MOLD! The bathroom and corners of the room have black mold. The next day when we returned in the evening, the sheets had not been changed. The sink, toilet and tub had not been cleaned. The dirty towels were taken but no clean ones were left. I was going to call the front desk to ask for towels but the phone DIDN'T WORK! i went down to the front desk to ask for a new phone and towels. There is no maintenance person on at night so when the cleaning lady was done she would bring a phone. I also asked about why we have no clean towels or wash clothes. "We are out right now." was the reply. WHAT??? Two hours later a new phone came and the towels. The hot tub doesn't work. At 10 AM I tried to get into the pool and the door wouldn't open. Closed for maintenance. There is a vending machine in the hall but it doesn't have one item in it! The shower in the bathroom barely sprays enough water to get wet. Get the idea? The breakfast was nice.

The air conditioning was not working in the main lobby. The room was old and smelled. Bathroom very small and I was greeted by crickets when I got up during the night. It was so hot that we didn’t stay for breakfast. Went to McDonald’s instead.
