I have stayed here several times because my son has to go to the hospital at Children's Mercy. The people here are great! they have given us reduced rates to help us out. The rooms are big and comfortable! The last night we were there they had a waffle night it was really cool. Something I haven't seen anywhere else....

My mom and aunt were visiting from out of town, so i met them in Kansas City and decided to spend the night at this hotel. First off let me say the curb appeal alone was very inviting. Once i walked in the lobby i was very intrigued by the detail to attention. The staff welcomed me with open arms....

My wife and I spent 3 glorious nights at this wonderful hotel. The breakfast buffet was the best we encountered on our entire three week vacation. There was also a dinner mixer on two of those nights with free food, beer and wine. The staff were all terrific, friendly, professional and helpful. This hotel is walking distance to the WW1...

This RI feels like the apartment complex I lived in during college rather than a hotel. Thin walls, three floors, and studio apartments. That said, it was like going back to that time in life when I could sleep through anything from a next door neighbor rehearsing at 3am for a pubic speaking class or the guy above me throwing...

We checked in Thursday night and checked out Sunday in the 2 bedroom. We worked all day to come back to no maid/room service on Thursday night. Had to go to office to get fresh towels, etc and told nice guy behind counter we didn't get maid service that day. Very apologetic and made a note in the computer and...

Dear Denise W: Thank you so much for letting us know of your housekeeping problems. This is highly unusual and I would love to know specifics of your dates of stay so that I can investigate. My number is (816) 561-3000. I am glad the front desk associate was pleasant but apologize that there was no follow through and that...

Above all else, this property is clean and the staff friendly. Close to WWII and Crown Center. Shuttle service to close restaurants and sites. A few things to be aware of: No elevators and outside entry to rooms. Older property which has undergone updates.

So this hotel looks to be an old apartment complex that's been turned into a hotel. The breakfast was good and the room was spacious. They have a shuttle which was nice to get from the WWI museum. The only crummy part is there is no elevator and we'd been packing a lot of gear as we were on a...

The hotel itself could use a little sprucing up....the tub needed resurfacing, couch needs replaced as it was flat wore out, ceiling needed some repairs from a prior leak. What it lacks in polish it makes up with good extra services.....such as they provide a shuttle for you - wherever you need to go (and be picked up from) within...

I was disappointed that I had to pay for a log for the fireplace. The beds were very firm and hard. The TV was small. The bedding had rips and the comforter was as thin as the sheets. Not comfortable. Never had this type of problem at other Residents Inn. For $180 a night I expected A LOT better.

Room was great. Both the bed and the pullout couch were comfortable and made for good sleeping. Didn't use much of it, but liked the convenience of the kitchen and the idea of their grocery service/stocking your fridge. We used the complimentary shuttle several times, it worked great. Only complaint was the short weekend hours, they stopped the shuttle at...
