This small boutique hotel In downtown Kansas City, MO in a gem. It's on the historic registry for a reason. It's beautiful architecture and modern furnishings made it a delight just to walk into. The staff were helpful, friendly and made us feel welcome. The small dining room has delicious food and a warm ambience. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel and seemed mildly clean except the toothpaste that wasn't cleaned from the sink. The website claims turndown service which is did not receive on either night of my 2-night stay. No replenishment of toiletries despite tip. Would expect more considering how this hotel sells itself.

We had five people in a double queen, booked a week before our stay. It was a nice, spacious room. Service was fine, though admittedly we didn't ask for much. Valet parking cost $2 more than self-parking, so we went for that. I chose the hotel because many others in that price range were outside of downtown and I wanted...

This is a small, very well run hotel. The staff is very accommodating and professional. Every time I walked into the lobby I was greeted by the staff with a smile and a hello. My room was newly updated, bed very comfortable and beautiful marble bath. Food in the dining room was excellent. Simo, my waiter, was top notch. I...

The hotel decor was very nice, it was a clean and comfortable spacious room. Just a short walk to the restaurants and shops in the power and light district. If you need to go anywhere the hotel has a driver to take you. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here at the Ambassador Hotel for two nights at the end of a trip with my wife to Kansas CIty. We had already stayed at the Intercontinental (average) and Sorella (Great). Thus we were expecting a wonderful stay at the Ambassador. First Off, the hotel lobby is small but elegantly decorated which I was expecting from a Marriott...

The hotel helped organised a car to pick me up from the airport which helped after a long flight, and the check in process was fast and easy. Just be aware this is charged $50 by the driver, I was under the assumption it may be complimentary airport transfer but it is not. The whole hotel is very well maintained...

Second time to stay at this hotel - love the historic, boutique feel and it is close to great restaurants, Sprint Center, etc. There was no one to greet us at the Valet or front door and we were hit up by several homeless people for money upon arrival. Check-in was not the usual wonderful experience - the front desk...

Great location with clean rooms, modern feel, and a great staff. I can't thank Jane enough for the local knowledge upon check in. She provided plenty of fantastic recommendations for places to grab dinner, drinks, and events going on in the area. Definitely will stay here again on my next trip.
