This hotel is amazing. Rooms are extremely clean and big, the attention is amazing, they helped us with everything. The breakfast is amazing, it has a lot of food. And you have water, tea, coffee and cetea all day long. Its located in a great place.

Have been in Kansas City for business meeting, with my spouse who wanted to visit her relatives. We found the Fairfield Inn at Union Hill which was close enough to walk to the meeting and convenient for her to visit relatives. Like most Marriott properties it is well kept and the staff are all friendly and helpful, Jill Schaefer was...

Close proximity to the heart of downtown power and light, museums, union station, and more. The shuttle driver "Jill" was the best. She genuinely cares about her passengers safety. The front desk person was very helpful. The hotel is older with average finishes. The bed was noisy and somewhat uncomfortable. The noise from surrounding rooms was quite annoying. TV was...

Douglas, Thank you for your review. We do understand that the hotel might look a little "worn". Hopefully you saw the sign for our upcoming renovation! It will be practically a brand new hotel in March! I will be certain to pass along you kind comments regardin Jill's shuttle service. She will be thrilled to hear it! Hopefully when your...

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was nice. Rooms weren't very sound proof though. Heard people in the next room talking until after midnight and sirens off and on all night. Really enjoyed the breakfast and the drink station was awesome! Great hotel if you plan on do a lot in the downtown area.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn while in town to attend a wedding and opted for this hotel over the Westin down the street because it was $40 cheaper/night. Overall we had a nice stay, I can't say enough great things about the friendly and helpful staff. There is also a shuttle that takes you anywhere within a 2 or...

We stayed here for a couple nights. Went to KC for a concert at arrowhead stadium. This is a great location. The hotel will drive you to and from anywhere within two miles. Like Power and Light or the Plaza. Only about 15 mins from Arrowhead and IKEA! The hotel is on an old building, but the rooms are updated...

Warm greeting at check in. Entire hotel staff are cordial and caring. The room was clean and neat with a soft mattress and fantastic pillows. The location is very near WW1 Museum, Union Station, Arabia Steamboat Museum and Trolley Tour. Parking available at these venues. Fairfield offers free shuttles within a limited range. Hotel has onsite free parking. The breakfast...

Overall, our single night stay was great. The room was very clean and fairly comfortable. The lobby staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Free parking and breakfast were great amenities. The workout room wasn't wonderful--the treadmill seemed kind of old and the elliptical was wobbly, but it served its purpose. The hotel wasn't fancy, but perfectly fine. We would stay...

I have stayed at the Residence Inn right next door but chose the Fairfield Inn for this one-night stay using Marriott points. We were in town for the USA Gold Cup match Monday evening at Sporting and the pre-game party was in the Power and Light District, so this property was very convenient. It's not the best of neighborhoods, but...
