After a full day of riding the Katy Trail, Cliff Manor was a restful retreat, just across the bridge (which is very safe for bikes with a separate bike/pedestrian separated lane) and close to Amtrak. Comforting and historic, with welcoming sherry and nuts, and a supply of complimentary bottled water. Breakfast was great fuel for our next day of riding.

Lovely accomodations, gracious hosts, and wonderful breakfast. Within 1 block of Paddy Malone's - one of the best Irish pubs around. Couldn't ask for a better break after riding 50 miles on the Katy Trail. Will return.

First time ever checking into a B&B. Stayed at the Cliff Manor during the last week in September while on a bike trip along the Katy Trail. The Manor is very near the trail, just over the bridge into Jeff City. The Innkeeper, Tammy, greeted me and gave me a tour of the house. She showed me all the amenities-...

I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. It's a great location for a B and B. Jefferson City has just enough to make a one night stay enjoyable. The breakfast was very good and the time was flexible.

After 50 miles on the trail, we arrived at Cliff Manor. The landscaper showed us where to park our bikes and we headed in search of food. On our return it was starting to rain and a car pulled up and asked if I was Cheri. Steve had actually come looking for us figuring we were tired and didn't want...

We stayed at Cliff Manor Inn with two other couples after a day of biking on the Katy Trail. We felt very welcome. The first thing Steve did was bring out the garden hose to clean up our bikes and ourselves after a rainy/muddy ride on the trail. There was a locked shed for storing the bikes. He then told...

If you're looking for more than just a place to sleep, the Cliff Manor Inn is the place to stay. It's like walking into a history book but well appointed with all the modern ameneties. We had 3 couples in our group and ended up with the whole house to ourselves. It's a beautiful, gigantic house that is located near...

My wife and I stayed one night at Cliff Manor during a Katy biking trip. We stayed in the Riverview Suite - the room was clean, cool (nice since we were coming in out of the summer sun), and had a great view of the river and the capitol building down the street. We have a lot of B&B experience...

We (2 couples) stayed here 2 nights this week. The house is very close to the entrance to the bridge and bike ramp that is used to traverse from the Katy Trail. And it is truly a historic house, generally well maintained and restored. 4 bedrooms upstairs - we occupied two that shared the half bath down the hall and...

We appreciate your comments and suggestions. The concerns that you described are certainly not typical for our guests but, unfortunately, your stay was affected – please accept our apology. My husband and I experienced the Cliff Manor Inn while on a week long Katy Trail trek. The B & B is conveniently located just off the bridge. We had the Riverview Suite with king bed, whirlpool bath and porch with large windows overlooking the Missouri River. Steve and Marlene greeted us upon arrival and showed us the locked shed...
