Alexanders was a wonderful stay, just 5 minutes from Richmond and 30 minute drive to Hobart. The cottage reasonably priced and is well equipped with great amenities, including continental breakfast, comfy beds, spacious lounge area with plenty of dvds, air conditioning and a downstairs fan. My mother and I stayed at the end of 2019 and Alexander and his wife were extremely helpful with directions and local restaurant ideas. We experienced a very, very hot 35+ degree day and Alexander even came and turned the air conditioning on for us to ensure we arrived to a nice cool cottage. For those looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable stay, close to town, Alexanders is a great choice :)

We stayed at Alexanders on our last day staying in Tasmania. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The house was very clean, comfortable, and the beds were comfy as well. The owner was nice and welcoming.

Set in a quiet rural location a few minutes drive from Richmond, Alexander's is a pleasant spot to spend a couple of nights while exploring the Richmond area. The cottage has a queen bedroom, kitchen, lounge and bathroom downstairs, while the upstairs area has two queen beds. It is well equipped and comfortable, with continental breakfast provisions provided. A gas BBQ is provided on the back patio also. Be aware that there is no wifi, which can be a positive or negative, depending on your outlook.

Lovely little house. 3Klm out of Richmond up a quiet country lane, on a working farm. Two separate bedroom units are hard to find in Tasmania, this place has one at the front, and one upstairs, with three large double beds, a huge open lounge room with sofa, TV+, and dining table. It is quiet, even though it is not far from the flightpath exiting Hobart airport. It is comfortable, and sufficiently equipped to enable a very pleasant stay.
