Average campsite with small pool and toilets... Cost for parking a camper is 20 soles each for adults & 5 soles each for children. No showers outside but you can use a shower if they have an empty room - showers are cold though. Electricity points outside but these only worked the first night we were there. Laundry service advertised...

We live in a truck and set up camp next to the pool for 10 days. Huanchaco Gardens is conveniently located close to the beach if you came to surf. There are two large tortuouses that roam the property and often try to embrace each other on an intimate level, while drinking water from our dogs bowl. We found that...

The appartments are nice, with decent kitchens, space to eat outdoors and 2 swimming pools. Also great location 2 minutes from the beach and a good veg restaurant. However showers were only hot some of the time and treatment from staff was inconsistent. They were friendly especially at first, but as time went on they were harder to find and...

We are traveling in an RV type rig and found Huanchaco Gardens by mistake....we stayed the first time for 30 days! The owner, Edwin Montezza was the most accommodating hotel owner I've ever met. The parking area for overlander vehicles is amazing, right next to a beautiful swimming pool. He has all sorts of wildlife on the property and one...

We stayed here for one night and camped in their ample garden at the rear. The toilets left a little to be desired but they were VERY clean, (and had toilet seats) there was toilet paper although no roof in the mens? The garden has a pool so who knows what its like camping there if the Hotel is busy....

The place was pretty good for our stay 12/25-12/28/12. It is a safe family run place with a big gate and buildings around the perimeter creating a large terrace garden to walk into. With two young kids, we were at ease letting them run and the garden and play with the owners children and kids of other guests. The only...

We stayed here after a busy two weeks of travel & sightseeing further south in Peru. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, where we were able to cook if we felt like it. The rooms are a good size & facilities excellent. The staff all work hard at keeping the rooms & grounds spotless. I would highly recommend this...

Nice clean and friendly. We are here in off season so it is about $20/night. Our space has a small kitchen and sitting area and then a bedroom. Quiet and great for families. The pools are a little chilly but still warmer than the ocean.

We did stay for a whole week at Huanchaco Gardens, mostly because we were so tired of eating out in Peru and were happy to find a place with own kitchen. The staff was indeed very nice, but we saw some flaws: The bed was almost broken and sleeping was terrible. Sleeping also got difficult because they have 2 peacocks...

We stayed for 3 nights and couldn't have asked for more. It's a great price for big rooms, comfortable beds, nice clean sheets and excellent pillows (a rarity). Very good shower (plenty of hot water) and cable TV. Some rooms even have a fridge and stove. The grounds are decent, a couple of pools and sun loungers. Right by the...
