I had made a last minute decision to travel to and visit San Agustin. I was going to arrive in San Agustin very late in the evening and I didn't fancy wandering around on my own (with my bags), searching for a place to stay. So the only reason I ended up staying at Terrazas de San Agustin was because...

Terrazas de San Agustin is likely the newest and nicest hotel in San Agustin. Although the hotel is new, the facade was built to fit in with the older houses on the street. The staff is extremely attentive, and the beds are more comfortable than most hotel beds in Colombia. In addition, we had a consistent supply of hot water...

Nice modern hotel which fits in with the traditional houses of San Agustin. The front of the hotel is keeping with the local houses, however the main part of the hotel goes quite far behind the frontage and offers good views of the local countryside. There are nice seating areas. The room is small but well set out with a...

Terrazas de San Augustin is for sure one of the better and newer hotels of this marvelous mountain town. Rooms are comfortable, the views from the terraces are impressive and the Jacuzzi and sauna make your stay comfortable. Attention of the young staff is also word mentioning. Prices are reasonable. Breakfast could improve as the restaurants only serve eggs. After...

Hotel: The hotel itself is beautiful, it was like stepping into our own private paradise (visited during the slow season and we didn't see any other guests during our 2 nights there). Everything looks brand new and extremely clean. There is a sauna and jacuzzi, a bar and lots of lovely sitting areas with comfortable chairs and couches to sit...

A group of four of us stayed just one night in this hotel but two full days (as we'd arrived early one morning via the overnight bus and left the following evening again on the overnight bus to Bogota). The hotel staff was extremely accommodating. After a long day touring the fabulous archeological sites, we relaxed in the hot tub...

“If you choose a standard room (which doesn't have a private balcony), ask for one on the top floor at the end as you are then right next to a "public" balcony. (One of the rooms on the end is 501; not sure what the room number on the other end is.) You will also have fewer people walking by your room if on the end.”
