We had such a nice experience with Hans and Angie at Raqueros, we brought our friends back the next year! The location on Manzanillo Bay is lovely and in walking distance of great restaurants and small towns. The room we stayed in was quaint, clean and with a wonderful view of the ocean and beautifully landscaped garden. Hans and Angie,... More

I put a lot of effort into finding the "perfect" place for my husband, two year old daughter and me to stay on our vacation and was not disappointed. Hans and Angie are so incredibly friendly and they run a very nice and hospitable place. I enjoyed the fact that there was a communal area where you could socialize with... More

For some, luxury is something that can be measured by thread count or square meters of marble. Those people may find something to grouse about at Los Raqueros. But if your idea of luxury is being lulled to sleep by the sound of breaking waves or lazing in a hammock surrounded by impeccably maintained gardens, then Los Raqueros is for... More

Our five day stay included the most intimate setting for us to simply relax to the sound of the waves, the chirping of the birds and the ever present sound of the surf. Our accommodations were exceptionally well kept and the doors opened directly to a view of the ocean at our footsteps. Our hosts made us comfortable and offered... More

After a week in this piece of paradise, re-entry to life in the city was filled with reflection on the special time at this B&B in Troncones. The friendship, conversations and generous hospitality of our hosts surrounded by an extraordinary tropical environment was an experience that cannot be beat. Our room was clean and comfortable and breakfasts were perfect. We... More

When we arrived we were greeted most cordially by Hans & Angie, our pleasant hosts. Our dwelling was the Casa Mariposa, a very sweet & thoughtfully appointed house that my husband & I shared with my parents. The site is secluded but conveniently reached from the interior of Mexico (we live in Queretaro), and the directions are straightforward. The location... More

Troncones is a beach town about 40 minutes north of Zihuatanenjo. The town is small with no high rise resorts or fancy golf courses. This town is about being on the beach. We stayed here the first time with a group of friends and returned in 2009 with just the two of us. Both trips couldn't have been better. The... More

Have stayed here solo a couple of times, and had a great experience each time. In a charming town, fronts a great beach and is walking distance to a number of restaurants. But the best part is the fact that hans and Angie pretty much demand every guest join them on the beach for a sunset drink. After two days... More

This is perfect if you want a quiet, beautiful place to decompress. The casita's are lovely, just steps from the ocean, on a bay that is gentle enough for swimming. It is spotlessly clean, and the hosts, Angie and Hans are respectful of privacy, but are there when you need them. Sipping our wine in the evening listening to Hans'... More
