Steve and Terri have got it figured out: gorgeous setting; great breakfasts; gracious hosts; and lovely accomodations. This is the perfect place to relax and re-charge. We loved: Steve's margaritas, Terri's dinner, the lounge chairs, the butterflies, the birds, the walks, the beaches, and the ease of making up a light dinner in the shared kitchen.

After a busy week spent with friends and family in Puerto Vallarta, we escaped to Hacienda de la Costa for a few days at the aft end of our trip. This was one of the best decisions we've ever made! After reading reviews on trip advisor we knew we'd be in good hands with Terri and Steve but we were...

Where do we begin.... My husband and I were blown away by the view, peacefulness, Terri's cooking, and every single detail of the Hacienda and Sayulita. Steve and Terri are the best hosts with tons of information and have a gem in the jungle of Sayulita. We really enjoyed the walk into town - only 2 miles and every bit...

My husband and I just returned home after spending a relaxing couple of days here. We were traveling with another couple and had spend the bulk of the time in Nuevo Vallarta and a brief stint in La Cruz. A do-over would be do by pass everything else and come straight here. The Hacienda is everything that the reviews say and more! To be brief the villas, the pool, the food, the location is perfect. Steve and Terri were excellent and gave us all the advice about traveling in Sayulita that we needed (down to which ATMs charge the lowest fees and who serves the best tacos!) and made our trip go...

There is not more that can be said about Hacienda de la Costa beyond all the other positive reviews provided. The B&B is serene, the owners Terri & Steve are hospitable and the location is perfect. The walk into town is a few hilly miles - we loved the exercise and the views. We took all of Steve's advice went...

I will be brief: • Best place I've stayed in Mexico • Perfectly off the beaten track (and that's an understatement) • Amazing breakfast, hot, and always creative • Clean and spacious rooms • Very quiet (except for the night chorus of crickets) • The screaching, morning chachalaca's reminded us daily to *get outta bed ... you're burning daylight! :-)...

Our "job" can never grow old when we get to share in your joy of hearing a Chachalaca for the first time or seeing an orange-fronted parakeet. We can't wait to see you again, both we ,and the birds, will be waiting :-)

We've visited Steve and Terri's beautiful hacienda in the jungle, twice before, first year for 5 days, second year for 12 days and this year just for a visit to 'Steve's' poolside bar to say hi to them both and to enjoy a signature margarita! While there today, I longingly surveyed our beautiful, well maintained, clean room with the fantastic...

We agree with all the lovely things people have said about this amazing villa tucked into the hills above the ocean. Quiet, pristine, delicious meals---all true. Terri and Steve are pros, gracious and knowledgeable. (Steve even got up in the dark one morning, made us coffee, and drove us to meet a tour guide at the crack of dawn.) The...
