TRIPLE FALLS RV PARK: 2020 Reviews (St. Anthony, Canada) - Photos of Campground

We used this place as our headquarters for a four day stay touring the area. On the positive side, the washrooms and showers were clean with lots of hot water, they have 30 amp electricity and water at all sites, good cell phone service, privacy sites, staff were friendly and it is conveniently located. Overall the park is run down and not well maintained. The are remains of broken picnic tables in many sites. Our site had one with a rotten board and there was a rusted mounted fireplace, a broken stabilizing jack and a rusted spoked fireplace which were garbage. Officially there are no fireplaces on sites. Many sites are grown over with weeds and other vegetation. This is not to suggest you shouldn’t stay there but have realistic expectations.

Location is perfect -

Not the best campground on Newfounland Island - but the only one near St Anthony and Anse aux meadows ; therefore very convenient ; the sites were so-so in terms of "grooming" but the rest was fine. WIFI - not great unless up close at the office. Typical Newfoundlander greeting ! Very friendly people -

Poor RV Park

This campsite was very old and uncared for...felt like the people running it just didn't care. The sites were a mess. Would not recommend. St. Anthony, on the other hand was a wonderful village, so there must be other campsites in the area to accomodate RVs.

Excellent visit!

We stayed at this RV park for 3 days in the latter part of September 2017 as part of a family genealogy research trip to NL. It was quiet (which we like) as most seasonal campers were not there. The park is lovely, nice place to walk our dogs. The showers and bathrooms super clean. The hosts were very friendly and gave us a local phone directory to help with our search. I would highly recommend commend this park!

Obvious base for L'Anse aux Meadows & St Anthony

The owners were pretty startled that I was travelling in the deep snow as a tenter! Nevertheless, they found an OK spot for me on the ball park and the facilities were good (washroom, free wifi etc). They're not, however, really set up for tenters, and you might find the ball park is not suitable when there are kids around on the site.
