The people that run this accommodation are very pleasant and they make a great breakfast. The room was alright, but the shower was terrible. When my friend was in the middle of her shower it went really cold suddenly when another person started their shower. The walls are pretty thin. There was a problem with the toilet too. In my opinion, the bathroom fixtures should work perfectly and they didn't.
The accomodation was quite basic, but very clean and everything you would need provided. Pearl and Edna are so helpful and provide a lovely breakfast with homemade bread and preserves. It`s a shame that they are either closing or selling this year as this is reasonable price.
this B&B at the crossroads is a great location.....easy access to the Viking sites as well as the town of St. Anthony. Our room was clean, the beds comfortable. Breakfast was good, and the ladies a delight. Certainly a good place to set up headquarters if staying more than one night.
Had a very pleasant stay here with typical Newf hospitality, Stayed in the B&B. Rooms were functional - great value for money though. Excellent breakfast, and excellent conversation. Being a wee bit out of town, it's nice & quiet, and a bit more convenient to L'Anse aux meadows. Would stay here again.
We stayed here for 2 night in July 2015. Rooms are small and simple but clean. There is a common area and guest are free to spend time there. The staff there are friendly and serve a nice made to order breakfast. The stay was inexpensive at $85 per night, tax included.
