The best breakfast anywhere by far. Although it was some time ago that we had the opportunity to stay here, we would still recommend it to anyone staying in that area. The year is off by a few. The area wasn’t on our schedule stop but with the big iceberg coming through we left for our return trip to Ontario earlier then we planned. And we were not disappointed. The bed and breakfast was awesome, scenery was great and the icebergs didn’t disappoint us either.

Lynn does a great job of hosting to make you feel welcome and prepare a great breakfast. She provides a coffee machine and bottled water in the room. She has 2 rooms, a smaller one with a bathroom in the hallway and a much larger suite with private bath and a large private living room. The bedroom in the suite has a queen and single bed suitable for 3 people. Location is good on the main road in St. Anthony which leads to the lighthouse. She also has a good TV system with a small flat screen in the bedroom and a larger tube TV in the living room. Give Lynn a try.

Dorothy and I stayed here for two nights as our base for a visit to L'Anse aux Meadows. The property was right on the main road, easy to find, and in a lovely garden. We had an entire suite (queen-size bedroom, bathroom, huge sitting room) and a private entrance. It was clean and very quiet, and Lynn, our host, was very communicative and helpful. The breakfasts offered lots of choice, always including freshly cooked dishes like pancakes with sausages, or bacon and eggs. She also made scones, and served them with homemade jam! We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable space and a big appetite at breakfast time!

We had the suite which was extremely comfortable and clean. Complementary tea and coffee were available as well as a small fridge if we needed it. Breakfast the next morning was very tasty with pancakes and bacon, homemade muffins and jam. Lynn served us our breakfast first and then sat with us. She is a wonderful hostess and we really enjoyed our stay here.
