The hotel and its gardens made an ideal base for four nights. The pool is the outstanding feature. Rooms can be a bit small and, as many have commented, the bathrooms/showers need to be improved and the beds are a bit saggy. If I was critical the whole place smelt of cigarette smoke. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and impressive....

We have stayed with 2 couples for a week in Moulin d'Aure to enjoy a bicycling holiday in the region. The rooms are cosy, clean but a bit small ; however you manage to put away your things for a week if you use all storing possibilities well. Nice bathroom. The breakfast is ok , nice nespresso coffee, nice terrace...

My wife & I decided to have our summer holiday in Provence to see the sunflowers and lavender and were recommended the Hotel du Moulin d'Aure by friends. Having travelled by Eurostar to Avignon we hired a car and drove the short distance to Graveson. First problem - the location on Google puts the hotel in the wrong place! After...

The deluxe double room that we stayed in was spacious enough with a terrace overlooking a lovely olive orchard. The bathroom was upgraded and had a daily generous supply of towels. More importantly the room and bathroom were very clean and well maintained throughout our stay . The grounds are lovely with lavender bushes and majestic trees lining the long...

We've stayed at this Hotel almost 10 days and I am very surprised by those bad comments! We had a wonderful welcoming by the receptionnist who speaks english perfectly and was so helpful with us. We spent the first night of a cycling holiday in this hotel. Arrived in Avignon following a long train journey from London and then Taxi to Graveson, a nondescript village a few kms to the south. We were tired and grumpy but the receptionist was welcoming and helpful and this was very helpful. The bedroom was clean, moderatey comfortable, small...

The bad-mannered Italian accent 60-something guy running the hotel likes the money more than anything else, including service to customers. The place has some potential but the guy there ruins it all! I will NEVER return to that place and will NEVER advise people to go there (even if I admit that some staff in the hotel make efforts to...

We returned to the Moulin D'aure for the second time in September. It's now under new management and the magic was still there in abundance. I read the previous negative comments on T/A and I'm not convinced that they are genuine, as I did not recognise any of the issues raised. Perhaps there is an old vendetta still being dragged...

We had dinner at the restaurant of Moulin d'Aure. Quelle catastrophe ! The friendly (but totally overwhelmed, confused and clumsy) staff couldn't make up the terrible - bland and overcooked - food. A a final touch, we were probably given someone else's (horribly overpriced) bill, as the friend who invited us confessed to us a few days later !

We spent two nights here on a bike tour through Provence. Nice location amongst olive groves and we appreciated the pool in the heat of the summer. The beds are like trampolines and the rooms are not in the slightest bit insulated for sound. No power points in the bedroom for us to charge our phones or for my husband's...
