The hotel was in wonderful shape. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a common bath but it was large and spacious. We loved the lemon flavored water and snacks during the evening and the homemade breakfast cooked to order. But beware all the restaurants in these towns are closed on monday and tuesday so...

A perfect stop on the Katy Trail. Great hospitality and fantastic breakfast. A glass of lemonade awaiting us upon arrival. Thank you to the proprietors for the great service they provide. One suggestion: Locked bike storage. Ours were cabled to a bike rack out back but would have liked the extra security of locked storage inside the building or in...

I can't say enough about the delightful Globe Hotel. Our Scout group of 15 pitched tents and enjoyed dinner, breakfast, showers, and hospitality in the immaculate Globe Hotel. Scout groups, youth groups, please include the Globe as a stop when you plan your trip on the Katy Trail. You won't be disappointed!

Very cool place, could be haunted, upstairs, large comfy rooms, great clawfoot bath tub in one restroom upstairs for all guests to take turns, which is great after a long bike ride! You will not be disappointed by the food, the coffee is hot and the hosts are wonderful.

My husband and I stayed here our first night on the Katy Trail and were really impressed! This was our first stay in a B&B and you could tell the owners took great pride in this home. Our room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was great! The town was really quaint with a tasty diner and local bar just...

Mark and Leia are wonderful hosts. They fixed the 6 of us a great dinner on a busy Saturday night, as the restaurant next door had recently closed. Charming old railroad inn. The 6 second floor rooms are clean, have sinks and are decorated nicely. They share several bathrooms. Very quiet and comfortable for a good night's sleep. We enjoyed...

We stayed at the Globe B&B while cycling the Katy Trail. It is conveniently located just off the trail. Bikes are stored on a covered porch. We had a queen room with a comfortable bed and a sink on the second floor. Guests on the second floor (six or seven rooms, I think) share one large bathroom with a shower,...

Great hosts. Dinner and breakfast was very good. The hotel is a work in process, but comfortable and clean. Nice living room full of games, books and music CDs. Good mattresses. Only one shower but 4 total bathrooms. Location is right by the trail head. Nice yard and front porch.

My wife and I were biking KATY trail across Missouri and our daughter and two grandkids were meeting us in Hartsburg for the evening. In this quaint small the Globe Hotel is the place to stay. We stayed on a Monday evening in a town where all the other places to eat are closed on Mondays. No problem -- this...

My husband, father-in-law, and myself stayed here over Labor Day weekend and I cannot say enough wonderful things about it. The meals were amazing, dinner was tilapia and lots of farm fresh veggies--way more food than we could possibly eat! Breakfast was great fruit and yoghurt parfaits, omelets, and all sorts of baked goodies with juice, coffee, hot chocolate, and...

“A great place to stay when riding the Katy Trail! Just a block or two from the trailhead in Hartsburg. Nice restaurant, The Grand, nextdoor.”

“The rooms vary in bed configuration. Some have full size beds, some have twin size beds, make sure to confirm your preference. Also, you have a shared bathroom down the hall, but you do have a sink in your room and a terrycloth robe for your use during your stay.”
