My wife and I had an amazing weekend at The Elms. The staff is well trained and proud of their property. They made great lunch reccomendations in their neay downtown area. We enjoyed a fun Christmas kickoff parade and came back to the hotel for an amazing dinner and "ghost tour" with Jay. The history of the place is pretty...

Great price, awesome location. We stayed in the presidential suite and it was worth every penny! Our room was on the fifth floor, and they offered appetizers and drinks every night at 5 PM for fifth for guests only. They have a spa on location which is beautiful. A giant pool outside a huge spa outside, and a lap pool...

Ambiance, spa, room, pools and history make The Elms a great little get-a-way. The spa and pools are a must do. Restaurant is decent. Fun cocktails on the menu. Tavern bar is great! Rooms are nice. Grounds are pretty to walk around. Recommend going out to Fence Stile winery. Only a 10 min drive. The hotel has a trolley shuttle...

Two girlfriends and I visited for a quick weekend getaway. All of the staff were very polite and very accommodating. When you walk in the front doors, it's like going back in time! Food in the restaurant was delicious! When the hotel gets busy, cell reception is pretty much gone inside the hotel, but you're on vacation anyway! The Spa...

My girlfriend and I just stayed at The Elms 11/4 through 11/6 and let me just say that this charming old hotel is perfect for a romantic getaway. We stayed in room 318 and while the view wasn't anything to write home about we loved the layout with a living room and then a corridor to a separate bedroom and...

Made a reservation on July 30, 2016 for arrival September 22, 2016. We were looking forward to staying at this "Classic Old Resort". Unfortunately they had overbooked and had no rooms available. They wanted to send us to the Sleep In. Since we explained this was not a comparable hotel to what we thought was a 4* Resort, they reserved...

My wife and I stayed for our birthday weekend recently; yes we're born two days apart. The Elms is a great old hotel with lots of character and charm, but...it's old. Despite the recent renovation the walls are paper thin and noise from adjacent rooms and the hallways is considerable. In our case it took two phone calls to the...

We stayed in one of the suites for a week. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our suite was nicely decorated and very relaxing. The bed was so comfortable. This was our third time staying here over the years, but the first time since the last renovation. They do have a restaurant on site, if you want to dine...

This is an awesome historic hotel and spa. The Grotto Spa was remodeled and is a great place to relax and unwind. We come to the Elms every year. The outdoor jacuzzi is open year round, and it's especially fun to sit in a hot tub when surrounded by snow. There is also a restaurant right on premises that has...

We happened to book a one night stay at The Elms on a recent trip to Missouri. My travel partner booked it and I had no idea about the property until we arrived. It was one of the best surprises I've ever had! What greeted me was a truly beautiful old hotel dripping with charm and grace. Not only was...
