Overall this is a basic Hampton property, but this review is complex. The hotel is located immediately off of I70 in a very commercial area; you are surrounded by restaurants, buffets, fuel stations, etc. The staff were very pleasant (especially during a very late night check-in), and the woman who manages the breakfast was absolutely amazing; she was so helpful and friendly and truly cared about her kitchen. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast is standard Hampton fare.
This is where the review gets complex (and has nothing to do with the hotel itself). Upon exiting I70 for the short drive to the hotel, you are met by homeless/beggars on every corner. I didn't think anything of it at first. We parked our vehicle, which had a tarp-covered trailer. In the morning, we found some of the tarp fasteners had been undone and the tarp pulled away. Luckily, we had everything in the trailer double secured with bike locks and heavy duty cargo straps, so nothing was taken. This is one of those cautionary notes to always secure your items.

Hotel's Favourite
Our stay got cut short unexpectedly but we really loved this hotel. Great friendly staff, at check in and check out which is hard to find post Covid. Room was great- bed, shower, tv, amenities. It had a nice though small “office” kind of space too. We didn’t use the pool or the breakfast but from the looks both looked very good. We loved the location which was close to everything. Price was very much in a range I was happy with. My wife’s one complaint was the pillows. I thought they were fine but she says she’s bringing her own next time

The room was clean enough, it did need some deep cleaning in the corners and the room floors should be mopped, your feet do get dirty when staying your room barefoot.
The night front desk guy was really nice and helpful, he offered to assist with moving one of the carts.
The breakfast staff should focus more on keeping the hot food filled instead of chatting with one another and closing the door so they wouldn't be bothered.

Please hear me - I don't believe our sheets were changed from the previous guest. I pulled down the bedspread and the top sheet (like I always do) to check cleanliness, and there were hairs all over the sheets. I kept pulling the blanket further down and they just kept appearing. Not only that, they were wrinkled as if bodies had been on them. They were not smooth like new, clean sheets are.
I am disgusted and so very disappointed. The Hampton Inns have signs on their bathroom mirrors that have their promise to clean and disinfect the room for my protection. That is a lie. They did not clean or disinfect my room.
I am appalled that anyone would think this is okay.
Unfortunately, we were in a hurry to find a place to stay for the night and did not look at reviews before we booked this room. Now that I have looked, there are others who said it didn't look like their sheets had been changed. Also, on google reviews, there was at least one from two weeks ago that said the same thing.
Please do not stay here.

I have booked at this Hampton Inn once before. As was the case last time, the hotel was extremely clean, very quiet, and very convenient for travelers along I-70 like myself. There is some amount of noise from the interstate, though you can ask for a room on the other side of the hotel to help limit this. The staff were very friendly, professional, and responsive when I called or had questions. The breakfast was very well done. Even though they didn't have one or two items I would have liked, there were plenty of options to choose from. The staff member overseeing the breakfast area (who I recognized from my last visit) was very friendly and did an excellent job at keeping the area well stocked and clean. Overall, this hotel is clearly very well managed. I will continue to book here and would recommend it to anyone else planning to visit Columbia.

Pool area was clean and there were plenty of clean towels available.
There was a fair amount of noise from above us starting at 5am but cannot hardly blame the hotel for that.
Breakfast was your typical fair but the young lady working the breakfast area was smiling, friendly and kept things wiped down and full.

Great rooms, staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was big enough for us and our 2 dogs crates in large crates. The lady (Kitten) at check in was super helpful, the breakfast lady (Gena I think) was warm and welcoming, kept the breakfast area spotless and well stocked. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Parking was plentiful. The area felt safe. I will be staying there again and highly recommended this hotel!

One night stay, arrived late. Plenty of parking, well-lit, and tidy lot. Felt safe unloading the car. Check in and out was smooth and very friendly, though we had to wait for an attendant to show up at check in. Room was good-sized with enough storage for luggage and still move about. Room was clean, but starting to show some wear (one light was not working, another fixture had a cracked cover). Bed was comfortable and in room heater reasonably quiet so we could have it on through a cold weather night. Nice hot shower in the morning.
Included breakfast was standard hot items. Waffle maker was a nice addition. Overall a solid experience for this class of hotel at a good price. Would stay again.

Holet for Drunks but not for us!
Last night we stopped at this Hampton Propety for the night. We had booked an accessible room as we were traveling with a family member who is disabled. We got her tucked into bed and then a bunch of guys down the hall were drunk and loud. We complained to the staff on duty who said, "We can't make them be quiet." Really? Another guest screamed down the hall yelling "Shut up!' annoyed with the same problem. We called down for a third once qgain to be told, "There is nothing we can do." They wanted US to chance rooms. We did, we left. On the way out we warned another unsuspecting traveler who was checking in to avoid the 3rd floor. The desk clerk theb said, "Don't harass our guests." First, she apparently knows about as mich as managing a hotel as she does what harassment looks like. Secondly, the guest thanked us for the advice. Lastly, she had the nerve to wish us a good night. I said, "Don't wish me a good night, we have not were to stay." Then she said, "Drive safe." What an absolute tool. A few miles down the road we stopped at a nice Holiday Inn Express. My advice, skip the Hampton and keep driving. These people are clueless on how to run a hotel and handle customer service issues.

If this is a top 15 in the nation of Hampton Inns….I would hate to see the rest of them. First hotel I have felt the need to check the sheets (which had body hair stuck to them) and want shower shoes ( pink mold in shower). When we got home, my husband said, “I need to shower the Hampton Inn funk off of me.”

They do take COVID serious
Room was taped off after it was inspected. Very clean
No breakfast now, a bag of granola bars an apple and bottle water.
