Located right on the man strip of downtown Columbia, we liked the fact that we could walk to restaurants nearby. We had a drink on the rooftop and the service and ambiance were nice. Room was quite and bed was comfy. Rooms are starting to show their age. You park in the adjacent garage and they charge you $5 bucks a day. Was a pretty place to stay

I got a wheelchair accessible room with two queen beds and a bathtub. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the service was great. The location is near the University of Missouri and a number of restaurants. Although they do charge for parking, it's the least expensive paid hotel parking I've ever found at $5/night. I was able to check in early (1:30ish), which was really helpful, I would definitely stay here again.
I got the grits with shrimp and bacon for breakfast one day, and I wouldn't recommend that. I think it would be better without the bacon. There was a layer of grease on the top, and the grits were a bit runnier than I am used to having.

From the minute I pulled up to the front door, I was so happy I chose this hotel! The valet, John, was welcoming and so helpful and the front desk manager, Zhawn, couldn't be more professional and pleasant. The warm Hilton cookie is always a pleasant surprise too!
After handing John my car keys and ordering a mushroom swiss burger from the lobby restaurant, I went up to my gorgeous room with an incredible view of the Columbia nightlife on Broadway Street. My burger was delicious and the TV was large and easy to use, the bedding was perfect and the room cool, sparkling clean and comfortable.
The next morning, the cleaning staff was so polite and friendly and wished me a great day. A perfect stay. Thank you and I can't wait to go back.

Doubletree is the most inconsistent of the Hilton brands, and this property is no different. The rooms feel more Hilton Garden in refinement, but the experience is full-service. The location is central to downtown, and the roof top bar onsite is quite fun. Just do yourself a favor and avoid staying on the 7th floor, which sits just below the rooftop venue.
The hotel team's service levels were very good, and I found the breakfast reasonable in price. There just wasn't anything special about this property that supports the high pricing (especially in the "off season" other than its location and lack of full-service properties in the area. It certainly felt more institutional than urban.

Check in wasn't bad but of course there are no upgrades for a diamond member. However on the app when I checked in it said I could pay $30 more and get an upgrade room. Sure seems suspect to me. And of course they said all the suites are sold out for the night however when you look up at the rooms on the street or if you are next door to one of the suites no one's coming or going and lights are off sure seems like they're empty to me.
You have to park next door in a garage and then take the elevator down come across the parking lot to get in the building. There is no executive lounge here. You get exactly two bottles of water and that is it.
Came back from dinner and fire department had the big trucks out front it seems elevators were down not very nice when your stay on the 6th floor I have to walk up the stairs.
Front desk staff was busy taking selfies during all this.
You get $15 toward a breakfast that barely covers the cost for the time you add in tip it does not cover it.
No pool, small workout area. This place has Frat house vibe.

While we can't always control everything like someone getting stuck in the elevator, we do try our best to handle those situations quickly even in situations when we were sold out. We do hope that you find a hotel that works best for your needs in the future. We certainly understand that our smaller downtown hotel doesn't have all of the large full service amenities, but we will always try to accommodate everyone.

This is a stock Doubletree hotel, the restaurant has awesome food along with a great staff. I really enjoyed the location right on broadway walking distance from everything. The parking garage for my car is next door and was very convenient. It is $5 per day whether you just park there or stay at the hotel...I appreciated it not being marked up by the hotel. The room was a little dark but very comfortable. I enjoyed the up to date bathroom but the bed a little lumpy. I would stay here again. Also, you need to visit the roof top restaurant/bar for drinks and/or dinner...great views!

I will share my experience with those who want to choose this hotel. I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and on the second day, I asked them to change my bedsheets as I got an itchy scalp. My scalp was killing me and I asked them again. After 10 days that I even couldn't imagine I found out that I got lice and what do you think I got from? I called the hotel and told them about my situation. The manager insisted that they are very strict about their cleanliness and this is impossible. I can't believe that even she didn't apologize to me. I told her that I was going to call a lawyer and she said ok give your lawyer my number. How rude and irresponsible. Even she didn't care that I was going to publish this picture and write a very negative review. Yes, this is how they value their customers.

The room is clean and comfortable, but what could be a recommendation will not be, because they will not treat you well, the staff ruins any good recommendation that I could make. At check in, it took forever to find the reservation, I asked for a quiet room and I got a room next to the elevator and ice machine. We had dinner at the hotel, the waitress had no knowledge of the menu, nor of the wines that were on the list and she found her lack of professionalism funny and she laughed at it. We had to wait a long time for the food, only one waitress, then we went to the terrace and the number of waiters was so excessive that they were waiting in line for the guests. At breakfast we delivered the voucher that we prepaid for breakfast and they charged us double. At check out, we asked for the error to be corrected and the front desk agent had no idea how to solve it, she disrespected me, we had an itinerary to cover and he made us waste time. The parking garage is not conveniently located and must be paid separately, there are no other parking options. The employees are a bunch of improvised. Do not waste your time.

Downward decline. Always full of middle aged drunks on almost every floor and especially on the roof which is some kind of bar/club. You will have the pleasure of being awakened by the loud music, which incidentally I could hear in my 5th floor room three stories below the bar. On one night, Friday, I even had the pleasure awakening at 1 am to such loud screaming that I ran to the window thinking there was a riot outside. Nice right? You won’t get much rest here. And if you stay due to a meet or athletic activity with your family and have to be up at 5 am, you won’t have a good experience. The breakfast starts at 6 if they let you sit right at six and two of the three mornings, it delayed by who know what. They seem complex unorganized and clueless. The staff is not accommodating and service is not a priority here any longer. I think the all mighty dollar is the only concern, not the customers experience. To pay the over $200 a night for such mediocrity is just plain wasteful and ludicrous. The food by the way is overpriced as well for the quality one receives. Save your money people!

Expect to receive over-the-top treatment and service at the Broadway Columbia. The check in was conducted following strict protocol. Everyone was masked and distanced staff and guests as well. Great lengths were obviously taken to sanitize the entire room. Our room door had a seal on it indicating it had been sanitized and treated with Lysol. The television remote was sanitized and wrapped with the seal as well as other highly touched surfaces in the room. I have asthma so the cleanliness was well appreciated and I could breathe! The front desk called after our arrival to make certain the room was acceptable. Without doubt I would stay there again!

This hotel is convenient to everything in the University area of Columbia. It has great rooms, with a great bar at the top and restaurant at the bottom. I highly recommend it. It has been quite a while since I stayed here, but, in the future, any time I come to or through Columbia, MO, this is where I will stay.
There are more places to choose from in the Columbia area.
