There were no cups or glasses in the rooms and when I let the staff know at check-out, thinking it was a mistake, I was told that guests needed to get cups from the breakfast room. This would have been very helpful to know at check-in.
The main option at breakfast was waffles. At the time we were having breakfast (6:30 am) there were 10 people in line and not enough time for us to all cook a waffle so we could get on the road for a very long day of travel The tables were all sticky with no staff checking for cleanliness as guests were leaving the table and nothing available for guests to clean their own tables.
On the positive side, the beds were comfortable.
2nd day I was there a guy was blocking the lobby door afraid that someone was going to come to shoot him and he wasn't even a guest there. People who weren't guest allowed to come in and use the pool like it was public. Probably the desk clerks family and friends. Breakfast was supposed to be served between 6-9 and was not able to eat at all. I will never stay here again.

I had a long drive the day before and was running a bit late (10-15 minutes by the time I left) leaving to checkout. Around 11:05, while I was quickly finishing my shower, I heard loud banging and yelling at my door. By the time I got my towel on to check what was going on they had already walked off. Whoever the man working there was must have heard my door open and immediately walked back over to start banging on the door and trying to open it again. I opened the door and explained I was sorry for running late and just needed to get dressed. Thankfully they left me alone for the next few minutes it took me to leave. As a young woman traveling alone, employees aggressively trying to enter my hotel room is not an experience I enjoy, even if I’m in the wrong for running a couple minutes late. The response seemed extreme in my opinion considering I was only 5 minutes late when the banging and attempting to enter the room started.
In addition to that, cleanliness was an issue. The cover for the bed clearly hadn’t been washed in awhile and had what looked like food crusted on it. Pretty much all surfaces looked like they hadn’t been cleaned. My non-smoking room had cigarette burn marks on the counter. I also was concerned about safety since I heard nearby gunshots when I pulled up to the hotel.
I decided not to bring any of these issues up to the front desk because I had read google reviews the night I arrived and noticed the owner/manager being incredibly rude in their responses to people’s reviews. It seems that people were having issues with them being rude in person as well.
"The only positiv part of our stay there was the location! Very convenient but unfortunately they need to improve on every level !"Read full review
