We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, very quiet, comfortable and very clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable and gave us a great nights sleep. There were large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash instead of the small sample sizes you get in many hotels. A great breakfast with many food options including waffles, pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, etc. was included. The price was very reasonable as well. The parking lot was large and well lit up. We would definitely stay here again.

My experience at this hotel was very good. It was a clean room. There was privacy from the woods outside of my window. There were many breakfast options although I didn’t have any. My small complaint would be that he elevator was very old and slow. I would also recommend bringing your own shower soap because the one they give you is waxy.

Our visit was 3 nights in length. I used the express check in so upon arrival, just needed to pick up key cards. Our room was clean and the AC worked really well. The refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker also worked very good. The bathroom was well stocked and plenty of towels. The bed was very comfortable and did not make noise when you moved around. The fitness center was clean with newer equipment. There were plenty of towels and sanitizer wipes to use before and after workout. The indoor pool was very nice with plenty of towels. The hot tub was not working the entire time we were there. The provided hot breakfast offered a variety of items including scrambled eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, and breakfast sandwiches. There was also the waffle and pancake maker which was not operational the first 2 mornings but was available on the last. There was also fruits, cereals, muffins, and bagels. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed our stay at this property and look forward to staying here again when we visit the Columbia area.

We try to stay here anytime we are in the area of an evening. The staff is invariably friendly. The breakfast is a very good one with many hot and cold items.. The place is clean at all times. Parking is close. As Wyndham Rewards members we stay at many of their motels across the country and can always count on this location.

The hotel was very clean and the front desk staff were pleasant. The parking lot was ripped up and under construction. When I came out to my car one morning one of the workers was using a pressure washer to clean the concrete near my car. I saw him blasting dirt (mud) and rocks off the concrete at my car. WOW!!! No regard for my car at all. When I asked to speak the the manager, I was told "she wasn't available". I then asked when she would and I was told they hadn't seen her in a recently and didn't expect her that day or the next. While the desk staff was sympathetic to my plight saying they'd had other complaints, I received no apology for what happened on the day I reported or when I brought it up again on checkout
The breakfast was just OK. The eggs the first morning had potatoes and cheese mixed with them and no much egg. They didn't seem to be held at proper temperature and there was very little in the tray. It took about 20 minutes before someone came out and noticed. The second day we had plain scrambled eggs that were good, but again the temperature didn't seem to be right. Additionally, the pancake machine did not appear to be working as pressing the button several times, did not get it to start. My sister that was staying with us had asked for more coffee at one point and was given a very blunt / terse response that it would be taken care of.

As owners, we were at the property and talked with the construction team regarding the power washing; your message did get to the manager as she was the one that notified us. Our parking lot project has taken a little longer than anticipated but is wrapping up shortly. We have resurfaced the area and installed new drainage for the safety of our guests, and additional lighting will also be installed. I sincerely apologize for the issue you experienced. This is an impressive facility. My room, like the lobby and breakfast area, was spacious, well-lit, and clean. The room featured a microwave and mini-frig with a freezer element, which allowed our dry ice to be refrozen overnight. The indoor pool and hot tub are both in good working order, and there is even a shower in the pool area with hot water so that you can rinse off the chlorine before returning to your room. Breakfast is the usual mid-range hotel option.

The room was OK, shower diverter doesn't work properly, bathroom exhaust fan has a years worth of dirt and dust on it blocking most of it's exhaust and the iron didn't work. My wife asked the man at the desk (at 6:30 AM, June 21) if he had another iron. When we finished breakfast and approached the desk he hadn't lifted a finger yet. He then took a cursory look in back and said they had none, then flopped in his chair and ignored us. After we didn't go away he reluctantly and angrily said he would get one from a hotel room. He slowly walked down the hall. My wife asked if he was getting an iron and without even turning around said yeah and shook his head, We went to our room and no iron ever showed up. He didn't want to be disturbed and let us know It. Never will I stop at this Wingate again.

After some disappointing stays at Wyndham hotels, we decided to give this one a try based on location, price, and a one night stay. However, this was a very enjoyable stay with quiet, clean, and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was the best of any hotel we stayed during our trip. Staff was pleasant and friendly. I have definitely put this back on my list of "stayable" hotels and would definitely stay here again when in the area.

We stayed as a sort of "staycation" allowing our kids to have the feeling of vacationing, while not leaving state. The service has been wonderful! Amy at front desk was great at helping me find a pleasing location for my family. We are in an area that doesnt require me getting anxiety over noise level and my kids feet annoying anyone beneath us. The pool is open until 11pm, breakfast is served hot, family freindly atmosphere, the room even came with a small bottle of sanitizer, as well as several around every corner of the hotel !! Staff has been nothing but kind during a time that seems rare, great customer service! Kids have had a blast, and would approve of 5 stars! Rooms were great, however my kids went right to work at messing up the art of perfection :) Thanks for a great stay!
