I was lured there by one of these hotel coupon brochures that you find at gas station, fast food places etc. along the Interstate 70. It was getting dark, I was tired, and the price was attractive.

The hotel in located in a seedy area of Columbia. Some down-on-luck characters seem to hang around there. The room was so hot, that it was very hard to sleep, as the AC wall unit could not cool the room down.

I have learned one more time (I seem to keep forgetting and need re-learning) that places that advertise on these hotel coupon books do so beacuse have problem attracting customers through normal channels.

We stayed one night and got what we needed - a good night's rest. The best thing about this was the great low rate we were given and it was one block off I-70 in Columbia. The two queen beds were comfortable and the room was clean.
The negative was that we needed 3 towels and washcloths and only had 2, but we didn't go back to get more. If the motel staff knows the number of towels kept in a room, they should also know to give out more towels when there are more than 2 guests to a room.
But overall we rate this as a good place to rest at an affordable price.

It is very important to us to know anything that would make your visit more enjoyable. We understand that two towels may not be enough for certain rooms and have started placing an extra towel in each of our double rooms. Thank you for taking the time to comment about your stay.

Clean room. Met the owner at the front desk, a pleasant man he is. Staff has courtesy down the hall way and around making eye contact to say hello. Quite environment. A little on the high side considering there is a graduation ceremony in town. Good for a short stay but should have been cheaper.

Where do I begin. The location is dicey , the hotel is run down and in poor condition. The coffee pot had mold in it and if you shut the bathroom door the knob locked and you couldn't get it to open. The worst came in the morning when we found bed bugs in the bed. Management didn't believe us even though we had pictures of them on a cell phone. Expedia booked me here for $150 a night and we had 3 rooms. When I checked in the front desk clerk told me they don't charge that much to stay here I shouldn't have gone thru expedia!

Booked this hotel through tripadvisor for our visit to mizzou softball games. Once we arrived to the place a manager told us the hotel wasn't even open and wouldn't be for about 2 weeks! Very displeased and annoyed. I wouldn't book this hotel unless you're sure what you're getting..

I understand that some people can't help but to live out of a hotel, but if this is the case they should start spaying regularly for bugs like apartments do. We were in town for one night, needed a room close to family & inexpensive. Most def couldn't pass up a 40 dollar suit, right? Wrong, came into a roaches dead/alive & roach motels throughout the room. I felt it was to late to complain & being almost 7 months pregnant all I wanted to do was lay down. How bad can a few roaches be???? Pretty bad when your getting up thru the night to pee & see them over ur head, on the wall, in the bathroom, on the counters. I didn't even bring my bags in until it was time to get dress. I took pics & video photage. I've stayed @ this motel in the past, usually its minor things that are wrong, but this was totally disgusting.

Like most everyone else said, the staff was very friendly. However, that does not make up for the AWFUL hotel that this place is. I stayed in a single-bed room at the hotel for one night and it was the worst hotel experience I've ever encountered/heard of. When we got into the room, it was FILLED with the smell of smoke, we could hardly even breathe!! Even though there were signs in the room that said "no smoking" they clearly were not big enough. At least, if someone had broken the rules, the cleaning people should have tried to get the smoke out of there. We had to buy air fresheners, it was so bad. But those still didn't work. The smoke got so bad that I woke up early the next morning and puked due to the amount of smokey air i was breathing in throughout the night.
Other problems:
- The top of the door didn't shut all the way- that's how warped it was. We got bursts of cold air from the outside all night and since we were on the first floor right in the parking lot, we could hear every person that walked by that night- and let me tell you, drunk people are NOT quiet.

- There was brown stains all over the sheets and pillows, we had to buy ourselves new pillows and didn't sleep on the sheets. So nasty!

- The carpet looked like it had never been cleaned. Under our bed there were so many crumbs and pretzels, it looked like the cleaning lady shoved the dirt under there so she wouldn't have to vacuum.

-Speaking of the cleaning lady, she came to our room at 7 AM banging on the door trying to get in to clean. After we told her to come back AFTER we left, we heard her go door-to-door down the rest of the complex yelling into people's rooms at the top of her lungs.

- No Wifi, you need an ethernet cord to use the internet.

- The shower head was so low that my 5-foot frame barely fit under it.

There were SO many other things that went wrong with the hotel, this list is just to name a few. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend that you DON'T EVEN CONSIDER THIS HOTEL!!!! It may be super cheap, but spend a little extra money and go to a Super 8 or something, it would have been so much nicer.

I stopped at the Columbia MO Providence Suites with my husband who is a combat injured Purple Heart recipient who has a service dog. Manager refused to rent us a room. I asked if he realized that he was doing something that was prohibited by law and he stated that he did understand, but then shrugged his shoulders indicating he did not care. I asked for his card and he refused, when I stayed asking for contact info he gave me bogus information.

1. the price for a room was good, but beware of the worst service ever!!! we asked 7 days in a row for them to change the linens and towels (room service) and all we got was a playful of excuses.
2. there were people living on a monthly basis or more, who would scream, fight, yell, and not wanting to sound to prudent, may be engaged in "illicit activities" at 2:30 am.
3. breakfast time was at 6-9 a.m. but it is recommended that you wake up at 5:30 to grab your muffin, otherwise you will find only the usual staled mini-donuts.
4. watch out!! there are different front desk agents working there. they have a terrible coordination so try to stick with one while asking for things. Avoid the hysterical one.
