The three things that knocked the rating the most were the window, the desk partition, and the bathroom door. The desk partition was loose, I suppose so someone had shoved a piece of cardboard in the track to keep it from moving. However, it just rattled every time someone walked past it. So that was a little annoying, but nothing major.
The next thing is the bathroom door. There is nothing physically wrong with it, but the design isn't great. It is frosted glass which looks fantastic. However, when you are up early for showers and everyone else is sleeping, it does nothing to block the light. Unfortunately, it is right across from the beds so once one of us was up, the rest of us in the beds were up. Our son stayed happily asleep on the pull out couch. Again, structurally, the door worked fine and it was aesthetically nice, but not a great choice.
The worst thing was the window. It wasn't latched all the way and the locking mechanism was bent so there was no way for it to be latched all the way. So it was letting in cold air and noise from sirens going by all night, which wasn't pleasant.
We did tell the desk representative when we checked out, just in case they didn't know about the above. Make sure to check for the sheet for the pull out if you are going to use it and check the number of towels because we didn't have the sheet or enough towels for 4 people. We just went to the desk and they got them for us, but just a heads up. I probably would give this 3.5 stars if I could do halfs on here, but I can't.
Don't stay here if you're expecting the usual Springhill breakfast. I woke up on Sunday, 1/16/22, went down for some breakfast at about 7:10am. The breakfast attendant (who was the same young lady who had checked us in at about 3pm the day before) was just beginning to put out breakfast. I grabbed a cup of coffee, went back to our room, and came down for breakfast about an hour later.
Coffee, cold cereal, some frozen Jimmy Dean sandwiches in a cooler, and some microwavable outmeal. No juice, no bread or english muffins to toast, no hot foods, no waffles....and for the entire time I was lingering, not a sign of the attendant.
My wife and I laughed it off, but had we been traveling with kids, expecting the usual Springhill breakfast, we'd have been pretty upset. Oh, and speaking of traveling with kids, the indoor pool was closed.
Just a weird experience. Not once on the morning we checked out did I see someone working at the front desk. Certainly wouldn't stay here again.
Admittedly, the room (two queens) was clean and provided a unique floorplan with plenty of room. The disappointment came with the "free" continental breakfast. The eggs displayed the classic "green" tint of instant, the waffle syrup was cold and most alarming was the cold and weak coffee (both regular and bold) Additionally, the sausage seemed microwaved to oblivion while still being cold.
Overall, not a bad location, nice room but don't count on the breakfast.
Pet leave of mine because how long have they really been gone, worse part is that it sits out there all day and night the desk clerk is normally in the back or out watching TV in the breakfast area. The room was clean and quite, however, the shampoo and soap dispensers are empty, thankfully I saw some on the counter before stepping into the shower and finding this out one in the shower, why even have them if you're not filling them. Also I ran out of tissue on day two and went to grab some from the front desk, of course the sign was there but a clerk came out from the back, she looked around and said you'll have to find a house keeper and ask them. One elevator was out of order for three of the days I was there. All in all I will not stay at this Marriott brand location again as they just don't make the cut

Our reception by Oshay and others were friendly and helpful. They were very respectful of their customer's well being and requests everywhere we met in the hotel (5 Star). We ask Oshay if the steam iron in our room can be replaced (badly burnt ironing plate by a previous guest), and a new iron was in our hands within a minute.
Our room on the top 4th floor was bright and properly cleaned. Lighting during the day and the night were very good. My wife particularly like the wider bathroom vanity, and the walk-in style wardrobe. The beds were comfortable and we slept well enough. (5 Star)
The small flat screen TV shared between the lounge side and bed side of the room was a minor down for us, as we don't watch much TV during trips anyay.
We thought breakfast was better than expected, especially with nearly every item individually wrapped, except those in the warmers. (COVID?). There were adequate choices. So we did not mind the lack of fresh berries or cut fruits in our visits to some Springhills pre-Covid.
Overall, a nice relaxing stay.
Pros: Fairly clean. Shower works with adequate water pressure.
Cons: Quite a few. Did not have any soap (both bar and liquid); no blankets on bed (there was a bed covering and a sheet); very poor breakfast that was not ready at 6:30AM; food lack diversity and quality; did not even have hot water for tea (which was not available on most mornings); hot water was lukewarm at best; the side entry door had glitches so your key may not open the side entrance; many of the TV channels did not work (especially the premium channels like HBO).
Overall the stay was very frustrating and I had to cut my stay short and book another hotel nearby (consider Drury or Staybridge).
Beware of this hotel. Be warned.

Interior bathroom door handle was missing a screw to hold it in place and there was small damage to the wallpaper. Overall excellent value considering the large space.
