We have stayed here before as it’s a great stopping point on our trip to Florida. This time was better than all previous just because they’ve actually decorated for Halloween! The RV lots are nice and long and level we were able to pull all the way through without unhooking our trailer. Staff is amazing, and it is a very well-kept park.

This is our 4th stay at Cottonwoods. Our son lives about 2 miles away so its convenient. The campground is not large and the sites are really close together, but its well maintained and well managed. No run-down "permanent" guests, no loud music so we can put up with the proximity. It's always crowded even on Sunday/Monday. I suspect it is one of the only campground convenient to I70 as some of the guest we talked with the passing trough.

The staff are top notch. While the lots are pretty small the amenities of the park off-set all other issues. It is located right off of Highway 63 and is easy to access. The place is clean, quiet and offers a good family atmosphere. The swimming pool, shelter house, convenience store and spotless restrooms and showers makes this a very desirable place to stay.

We have been coming to Cottonwood six to 10-times a year for the last five years due to MU football, basketball, family, golf with family, etc. Mostly quiet even though it is right next to Hwy 63. Plenty of trees for shade, clean swimming pool, covered picnic area, playground for kids. We have always found the campground clean and well maintained. Do not need a filter or pressure regulator for the water hook-up and each site has a sewer dump. They have recently upgraded their WiFi to allow for streaming. That said, when big storms come through, the streaming service can be spotty. The area does have HDTV channels to monitor weather and local events and we use our ATT cell phone hot spots if the cloud cover slows the streaming service. Throughout the year they put out decorations. Now is fall and Halloween. Soon after Halloween it will be winter and Christmas. There is a meeting/banquet room that we have booked several times to host family dinners/events, including last Thanksgiving. Rest rooms/showers are always clean. Laundry room on site as is a game room with some work out equipment. Right next to the Boone County fairgrounds and a park; therefore, plenty of walking areas. Highly recommend. Will not stay anywhere else when in CoMo.

This is our third year coming to Cottonwoods RV Park. During season the park fills quickly for the weekends, Boone County Fair, and for MU Football home games during the fall. They have events throughout the year, and those weekends fill quickly also. The park is clean, well maintained and they decorate for the seasons. The asphalt roads needs some love; however, the gravel sites are essentially level. Each site has both 30 and 50 amp, water year round, and sewer hook up. The staff are always pleasant and we look forward to seeing and talking to them with each visit to the park. They have a great online booking tool, and now send you text messages prior to your stay with access codes to the showers and laundry. You will not regret staying here.

We love staying here. I think it's our fifth time. We always see other people we recognize from past stays so many are repeat customers.
The grounds are beautiful. Playground, places to walk dogs, pool, exercise facilities, camp store. Location close to town, Katy trail, Rick Bridge State Park.

Cottonwood is very convenient from the interstate but you don't hear the noise from it. This was our second time staying here and it still didn't disappoint us. Clean, nice pull thru sites and the staff is very accommodating. We look forward to our next time when we stay there.

This is such a great campground! The grounds and facilities are well maintained, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The playground is a great amenity for my kids. They went all out for their Halloween decorations, which made it a very festive environment. Quiet hours seem to be well respected; we didn’t have any issues with noise at night

Very clean, quiet park. Everything was organized from making reservations, receiving periodic updates via text & email & the check in process. They have a nice store with very reasonable prices. The laundry room was clean too! We would recommend this park to everyone. We stayed just for 1 night, so we don't know much about the area & what is nearby.

The park is clean, lots of flowers, but the spaces are super close together. Our neighbor's sewer line was about a foot from our picnic table....and, of course, he's messing with it while we are eating dinner. Gross.
But, the main problem: When we reserved a campsite we made it clear that we needed 30/50amps....30 for our 17foot trailer and 50 to charge our Tesla. We were told, "no problem." However, on arrival we were told the park's electrical system could not handle both and we would need to pay $52 for another site to charge the car! They immediately put this on our credit card even though we did not use the site. We told the office that we could not stay the second night due to being misled on the electrical capabilities. We requested a refund of second night and the "extra" site. They did refund $50 but refused to refund $52 for the night we were not there.
And, to top it off, the man in the office was very rude. We won't be back. "
