This is a beautiful caravan park with brilliant facilities. We were unfortunate enough to arrive on a weekend of storms. We set up on a flat, easily accessible site in the dark and the rain, and spent the first night hoping the canvas would hold. The next morning, it was still raining, however, the campsite was well drained, with very little standing water. It was also super protected from the worst of the storm - when I walked down onto the beach, the strength of the wind was phenomenal, but back on the campsite, it was relatively calm. When we realised the rain was not going to stop, the staff went out of their way to find us a cabin, so the kids and I could stay dry. My partner stayed on the campsite with the dog. Dogs are not allowed in cabins, but the staff offered to let us have him stay in the car nearby if the weather got too bad. We opted to keep the campsite, as the dog was likely to bark incessantly, even if we were nearby, and I didn't want to be THAT family that everyone hates.

The grounds are idyllic - they're shaded from the worst of the heat and beautifully maintained. We didn't get to use the pool, but it looked amazing, as did the BBQ area, mini golf and kids' play area. The amenities were clean and modern. While we were there, there was a minor maintenance issue with the women's bathroom door. It was fixed within minutes of reporting it.

Communication with the park was also amazing. We were given all the relevant information well in advance, and were kept informed of any issues around the park. Staff were kind, empathetic, and knowledgeable.

If there was the option to give more than a 5 star rating, I absolutely would. Can't wait to come back again.

We love this clean, quiet camp ground and have been a few times. It's right on the beach, the facilities are in great condition and always clean - even on public holidays.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
Two lovely deep pools with room for loungers in the sun or shade.
Great laundry facilities with washing machines and dryers (eftpos or cash) and a big clothes line.
Outdoor showers, mini golf, grassed volley ball court, basket ball court, go karts etc.
Dog friendly which means our friends can bring their dog along.
The unpatrolled beach out front is great and popular with locals for early morning dog walking.
Well laid out camp ground, so it doesn't seem to feel busy, even in peak period.
Bring mozzie spray/candles as there is lots of lush bush and trees, providing shade and birds.
We really enjoy this laid back, comfortable campground and will continue to come back and spend time here.

We stayed here very last minute as an overnight stop from Sydney to Brisbane. This was a great half way point and the park were very helpful over the phone to arrange a booking and go through which accommodation would be most suited to our family (2 adults and 1 toddler). We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which had ample space for us for the night. Main bedroom with a double bed and the second bedroom had two sets of bunk beds. There is a kitchen with all utensils, a stove and saucepans provided, and a living room with a dining table and sofa. We only realised in the morning there was a split system aircon unit in the living area which was put straight to use after a chilly evening. Linen and towels + soap provided.
My husbands only complaint was the ‘crunchy’ bed linen that made a noise each time someone moved however we would certainly stay here again so this wasn’t a major turn off.
My 1 year old loved the very short stroll to get to the beach and if we stayed longer the mini put put would have been so fun!
Thanks for your help getting us booked in at such late notice.

This was an exception park.
It was well maintain and very clean.
The staff were friendly
Although we weren't there with our kids the facilities were fantastic.
Very well priced for peak season we had just paid over double the price an hour away for the same length of time.
Fantastic location with direct beach access.

We had an amazing 2-night stay at Sapphire Beach Caravan Park! The powered campsite was perfect, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway. The highlights were definitely the two beautiful pools, which were a hit with our family. Our kids loved spending time at the playground and playing putt-putt golf – great for keeping them entertained.

The communal shower block was a pleasant surprise; recently renovated and truly second to none. It was spotless, modern, and exceeded our expectations. We can't recommend this caravan park enough – a wonderful spot for families!

This holiday park out of peak season offers a quiet relaxing stay- mini golf is great fun! Peak season caters for all - beach walk, swimming, mini golf, basketball hoop, pool, play area, area for toddlers indoor. Short drive to Coffs, challenging walk to summit of mutton bird island if lucky can see whales (seasonal). We’ll be returning-value for money and friendly staff.

Sapphire Beach Caravan Park is the most pleasant park we have ever stayed at. ( and we have travelled a lot ! )
The whole park is surrounded by lush green trees, plenty of shade and well maintained grass and garden areas.
There is the pleasant sound of birdsong to add to the beauty of this spot.
Easy access to main roads but no vehicle sounds in the park.
Immediate access to a long beach which at lower tides has beautiful small rocks to fossick through. Fantastic for long walks and early morning sunrises.
A beachside cafe a short walk up the beach offers delicious food and great play areas for the children.
The park itself has a great pool area and mini golf. Pedal carts for the kids.
The ammenities are spacious and kept very clean.
All staff are very pleasant and helpful.
Only 5 minutes from a shopping plaza and 12 minutes from Coffs Harbour.
We definitely plan to return.

Gerard and Karen Murphy.

We stayed only 1 night but cannot wait to come back. Our accommodation was in a newly renovated cabin and it was luxurious. The park is beautifully laid out, set in gorgeous bushland and with the beach wonderfully close by.
The owners or managers were all so very friendly and helpful which further enhanced our experience.

Took our three children aged 10,14,16 . They all had a fantastic time and wished we'd stayed longer. Lovely walk to the Northern End of the beach early in the morning for a coffee at Moonee beach. Sapphire beach is nice on the South End for both swimming and boogie boarding. Although not patrolled, it was shallow and safe enough for children. the parking grounds are nice with putt putt ($1 pp!) and hired karts $5pp . So very reasonable. There is also a volleyball net. Overall we enjoyed our stay (cabin 33 has an oven, 2 bedrooms, large living area and balcony which could accomodate over 12 guests comfortably, and is bigger than many houses in Sydney!) We'll be back. Thanks for a great stay,

A massive thanks to Dave and the crew at Sapphire Beach Holiday Park. Stayed for New Years and loved every moment. The 10 second walk to the beach is why we stay. You can usually get a surf. During peak season is like winter on Bondi, “no crowds”. Our friends have smaller kids so we go for a quick drive to Redrock Beach or even quicker drive to Moonee Beach. All the facilities you would need are at Moonee Markets.
At SBHP they now have coffee carts and specialise doing Hawaiian Massage. Great balance between firm and soothing. I will definitely book in next year for one. The staff are extraordinarily helpful and always plenty of activities for the kids. The have a games room, mini golf and a decent sized pool. SBHP is definitely a “gem” on the Coffs Coast.
