Have stayed at Aqualuna many times pre COVID but this recent stay left us very disappointed. We had room 895 which has great views and was clean but that is where any positives end.The bed had a major sagging problem and when I told Reception she said we could swap to another room however we were leaving next morning and did not want to move all our stuff again. I looked for brand name and label had been removed ! But name on mattress was Sealy.however it was ancient and well past replacement.Reception said mattresses were being replaced over time but not ours yet. I got impression units are now privately owned and either owner occupied ( by all the stuff on some balconies) or as investments.Aqualuna appear only to manage bookings. When I asked if anyone checked the Units for quality control I was told they did not have the staff to do that !! Wifi is free but totally useless. Was informed breakfast is no longer served AT ALL in restaurant. The toilet “rocked” from side to side ,the dining chairs were plastic and we had little crockery or cutlery. Cupboard had doors removed. No plug for bath so clearly they did not want you to use it.Very uncomfortable stay, definitely will not return. This place is now no better than a 2 star hotel. Management clearly lacking in skills to run this establishment.

It is terrible, I wouldn’t recommend, very old, very dark and dirty. The unit we were given was way over priced by about $230. Carpets, sofa, kitchen, bed, bathroom - everything were dirty, very dirty and old. Full of spiders and cockroaches. Couldn’t wait to get my family out of the place. It was a terrible experience ever. Managers just not even care about customer service

It appears this place is under new management which is its downfall. Have stayed here previously and in comparison very disappointed on this occasion. Use to be a nice place to stay . The unit we were given was way over priced by about $155 for a dingy dump we were in. Carpets were dirty and so was the bathroom. Felt you had to wear things in the bath room. Couldn’t wait to get out of the place. As mentioned we have stayed here before but this is definitely our last time… yuk.

Beware of staying here for any type of holiday. I recently checked in for a business trip on the 02/11/2021. After checking in I dropped my bags off and then went about my business in town. After dinner with a client I returned back to the room after their normal operating hours to find that the pillows were not cleaned and then bed sheets not changed. The smell from these pillows and bed sheets was disgusting. After a terrible sleep I then went to speak with the staff after their 830am opening hours. I gave my story and then was told I can’t speak with a manager. Finally a manager managed to appear on the phone and I was treated with utter disregard and disrespect. I was told that I was fabricating the story and that no assistance or compensation would be returned. The manager obviously has no formal training or people skills. Do not stay here unless you want to get sick!!!

Loved our time here, close to beach. Good beds, showers/spa and kitchen. Some of the house was worn and needs a little upgrading and under beds were quite unclean. I would recommend this place if you are ok with it being a little old and not perfect!! The views from upstairs were priceless!
