Detailed Reviews
Cathy and John are wonderful hosts who will make you feel relaxed and welcome.
We stayed for one night and we were lucky enough to experience Cathy's cooking for dinner.
Breakfast is excellent and mainly consisted of their own produce.
The King room has a log fire place and an ensuite which was very comfortable.
We highly recommend Sharron Park Farmstay and B&B.

My partner had stayed there years before on another holiday in Australia and was adamant that we return and stay on our road trip from Sydney to Brisbane. It's a real farm B+B with real friendly people John and Cathy. We had dinner with them and they were really interesting and full of stories as well as showing interest in us. The bed was a big old bed and so comfortable. It felt like staying in a friends house.

We recently spent 2 nights with our son and thoroughly enjoyed it. Cathy and John are lovely and the highlight for us was the home cooked dinner which was delicious. The beds were really comfy and to wake up to an amazing breakfast was a treat.

Great value B&B with exceptional breakfast using home grown produce. Optional dining with hosts, John & Cathy in their dining room with antique furnishings & heirloom dinner settings are highly recommended. Delicious quality meals carefully prepared and beautifully presented. Enjoyed easy interesting conversation with John & Cathryn till late at night - what interesting experiences our hosts have had! Will have to stay in winter too to enjoy cosiness of fireplaces.
Thank you John and Cathy for a highly recommended farmstay with genuinely warm hospitality in a great environment.

We stayed three nights with Cleo, our boarder collie dog. Dogs not allowed inside but there is a kennel or saddlery for dog to stay in if required and house has a large fenced surrounding grounds.
The bed and room amenities are simple but we were on holidays wanting the simple down to earth experience and it is their family home. Could have stayed a week. Bed is very comfortable. While the highway may be nearby there is basically no noise as the highway is flat so no breaking or acceleration from the traffic.
Breakfast was basically all made from locally sourced fruit and eggs (60 chickens laying eggs on the ready!). Expertly cooked and presented. More than enough to see us through to dinner. Each breakfast was diffent. You'd only have repeats if staying longer than 5 nights.
We also had two dinners also locally sourced. Again, superbly tasking.
While breakfast is included in room rate, dinners are extra and are SO well priced.
We didn't have breakfast with Cathy and John but did for dinner which was enjoyable as had a good conversation about life experiences and farm work.
Highly recommend staying a few a least a few nights if travelling through. The Glen Innes museum is well worth a visit and wondering through the rocks at nearby public park next to balancing rock (early morning of late afternoon).

Thank you Gordon, Annette and Cleo. So glad to hear you all had a great time at Sharron. We enjoyed having you and sharing evening meals and were so glad Cleo adjusted so well to being an outside dog! I do appreciate getting feedback and seeing the things guests like. So thank you and maybe your extra family research will bring you back again!

Thanks to the Crosbys for their hospitality. We had a quick stay over whilst attending a friend's birthday party nearby. Cathy and John were very welcoming. Upgraded to King bed which was amazing. Gorgeous rooms. Our family of five were very warm. Kids loved exploring the natural surrounds. Generous breakfast and great coffee!

Great to get your feedback and to know you were happy here. Shame your time was so limited because your children no doubt would have loved to explore a bit more and to meet some of the farm animals.
