Thank you John and Cathryn for sharing your home with us. We were just passing through and were delighted to receive such a warm welcome and immediately felt at home. A warm fire and a lovely comfy king size bed greeted us and then we wandered outside to be amazed by John's hobbies. Cathryn prepared us a delicious three course meal the venison was amazing. We learnt so much from you over dinner about the farm and what it takes, hard work, drought and years of devotion to a property that you and your family clearly love. We wish you well and hope to pass through again one day Regards, Chris & Lesley

It was amazing experience for our Farm stay!! Enjoyed a deer farm dinner with host Cathy & John and his delightful daughter.^^ Kind John show us his workshop for airplane making by his hand. What a great experience, and make me wonder what is our limitation when you see this great man, who can make airplane by using his tree in his farm. It was inspiration for city person like me and my husband. Anyone would like to experience real farm house stay, Sharron Park Farmstay is the one!!

We recently spent 2 nights with our son and thoroughly enjoyed it. Cathy and John are lovely and the highlight for us was the home cooked dinner which was delicious. The beds were really comfy and to wake up to an amazing breakfast was a treat.

Really appreciated a 2-day stay at this authentic farm stay in a well presented house with a long and interesting history. Our king size bedroom (1 of 4 available) with ensuite, TV, fireplace & fanea was very comfortabley - great quiet sleeps in a very comfy bed - all the q se and farm. Two very friendly farm dogs, chooks and cattle. Great value B&B with exceptional breakfast using home grown produce. Optional dining with hosts, John & Cathy in their dining room with antique furnishings & heirloom dinner settings are highly recommended. Delicious quality meals carefully prepared and beautifully presented. Enjoyed easy interesting conversation with John & Cathryn till late at night - what interesting experiences our hosts have had! Will have to stay in winter too to enjoy…

We stayed three nights with Cleo, our boarder collie dog. Dogs not allowed inside but there is a kennel or saddlery for dog to stay in if required and house has a large fenced surrounding grounds. The bed and room amenities are simple but we were on holidays wanting the simple down to earth experience and it is their family home. Could have stayed a week. Bed is very comfortable. While the highway may be nearby there is basically no noise as the highway is flat so no breaking or acceleration from the traffic. Breakfast was basically all made from locally sourced fruit and eggs (60 chickens laying eggs on the ready!). Expertly cooked and presented. More than enough to see us through to dinner. Each breakfast was diffent. You'd only have repeats if staying longer than 5 nights. …

I spent 2 delightful days at Sharron Park and couldn't have been happier with my choice. Cathy and John were wonderful hosts whose country hospitality was greatly appreciated as I was visiting Glen Innes to attend a funeral. It was so lovely to stay in the glorious Glencoe countryside rather than in town. Cathy served a wonderful dinner and John's breakfast omelettes were to die for. A wonderful find.
