This proprietor does not care about the welfare of her clients. One of the main reasons that we booked here was because we were told we would be able to do a ride in the morning and then ride in the evening and then she just left in the morning and we couldn't get a hold of her. Then she...

Second time Riding here. Had a blast. Fabulous horses and great trails! In love with Mo, the paint in the photo. Beautiful conformation and gait. She kept things exciting! Horses for beginners or more advanced riders. Beautiful countryside.

Had a wonderful time. Great horses and a great place to ride. Will be back for sure. We visit Purina Farms many times thru out the year for dog shows. Just found Meramac Farms and can't wait for our next trip. Love the options for length of ride and prices aren't bad.

We chose the two hour ride option and had a fabulous time! There were 5 in our party including my two boys that have minimal time in the saddle and a young lady with special needs. Carol was wonderful in giving firm guidance with handling the horses without being harsh or sounding aggravated. Carol had the horses and saddlebags ready...

Carol, the owner, was disrespectful and demeaning. There was no up-front instruction on her expectations with regard to our handling the horses, such as not letting the horses graze when we had stopped on the ride. Her approach to providing guidance was to wait until you did something she didn't want you to do, like hold on to the saddle...

We took our eldest daughter her when she was 2, 12 yrs ago. Fed cows, hung around. We found an old paper on the cabin when clearing out a closet while redoing the house… so thought.. YES let’s go. Kids were super excited for a WELL needed quick getaway from a super busy life of work and school. Carol, the...

The owner helped us get into a cabin last minute and waited up for us to get into town to give us the keys. The cabin we stayed in had steps leading straight down to the river, and it's all so secluded and peaceful. I would definitely go back.

We read the review that stated that there were feas in the bed and cockroaches in in the kitchen and we were concerned because we love this place so much and hoped it had not gone down hill. We arrived and did a complete inspection. The review was unfounded. I will state that there were a lot of bugs... OUTSIDE!...

Meramec Farm has beauty in all its seasons. Nowhere else that I can think of can offer so much for so little money--outstanding horses, gorgeous bluffs, easy access to hiking trails, a pristine river in the back yard . . . I go back every chance I get. If you do book a ride and need to cancel, please remember...

the cabins looked nothing like the brochure. they are so run down i was afraid it might collapse. there were fleas in the bed and cockroaches in the kitchen. it smelled like a sewer outside near the cedar cabin. all in all this was the worst place i have ever stayed! I'm so glad it was only one night.....! Carol...
