Very run down hotel. Corridors smelled and carpets dirty. Room backed onto the cats and dogs home, but glad we was not on the front as overlooked the east lancs and was noisy. Couldn't open door properly as carpet was rucked up, and had stains all over it. Bathroom no toiletries, not even soap. Restaurant dark and looked grubby in...

Myself and 3 colleagues stayed at this hotel as the photos looked nice. The Gym had mould around the pool sides and Windows. The rooms had stained carpets and a sink actually in the room! The size was large and all of our rooms had two beds. The mattresses were past their best. It's a shame, this hotel could be...

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and it is now looking a bit tired. The rooms were ok but they had taken the iron and ironing board out much to my dismay. The beds are lovely and comfy and the towels are soft. The public areas were quite run down. There were so many cobwebs around the...

Stayed here last weekend and although not worthy of an 'excellent' this hotel was very good. The food, service and staff were not to be faulted. It is a bit tired looking both inside and out and we didn't try the leisure facilities but the beds were clean and comfortable and in a twin room, we both had a double...

This hotel did its job. It was cheap. Not a romantic get away and it was noisy with poorly sealed windows and other noisy guests. But it was cheap. Wifi was slow and almost pointless Place is a wedding venue... well I would not want to get married there and would not like my family or friends to stay there!...

The place is ok, but gives an impression of worn down. The room had the clever switch with the key card so as I left the computer charging as I had supper nothing happened. Had fish & chips in the pub it was served almost cold and didn't taste very good. The breakfast, full English, was disgusting, the egg and...

Stayed here for overnight stay while visiting family. Retuned to hotel after for drinks in the bar. No problem before 12pm. Tills taken out. No more service asked bar staff to put drinks on room informed could not do so. And if we wanted another drink to go across road to petrol station and drink it in lobby ..Not happy...
