We had our stay here for my husbands 70th birthday. It did not disappoint. We loved our suite. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly and efficient. We can't wait to return for a longer stay

Having relatives staying, we decided to revisit the Badger before they went back. I'd downloaded the menu the previous evening so everyone could think about choices but the following day, there was so much to choose from that decisions were diificult. Two of us settled before the home made pie of the day which was today chicken mushroom and ham. This...

Went today for lunch to one of my favourite places. Have written a couple of reviews before mainly because of poor/slow service. Today was wonderful the "Maitre de" led us straight to our table even though we early, wine came quickly and our order taken speedily but still enough time not to be hurried. I ordered the plaice the Maitre...

I had high hopes of the Badger after having a thoroughly enjoyable meal at its sister pub, The Plough. A friend was staying nearby and we decided, at my suggestion to try a meal there. We arrived at about 7.30 on a Saturday night and, although the main bar was heaving, the snug was empty, so after checking we could...

We booked here for Boxing Day as a group of three. The food was lovely and well presented. The staff were friendly and courteous. This was booked as a treat for my mother and we weren't disappointed. This pub was voted as a Cheshire dining pub of the year 2014 and their standards have remained high. I would definitely recommend...

great place - especially as a stop over for the north - as we used it. The room was excellent, clean, odour free. This was on the road side of the pub so caught some occasional road noise during the night. The meal and breakfast were also excellent. Also bear in mind it is a popular working pub so friendly...

A group of 8 friends dined here last evening. From start to finish the service was sadly lacking. We arrived at 7.30 for our 8p.m booking, hoping to enjoy a drink in the bar before dining. Service was slow and then the bar person disappeared before we could place our order. Leaving our partners at the bar attempting to get...

My wife and I visited The Badger Inn today, as a number of friends had recommended it. We both found it absolutely delightful. All the staff we came into contact with were lovely, very welcoming and helpful. We were situated at a table by a window in the conservatory and had a lovely view of the Cheshire countryside. We just...

Church Minshull is small so no competition I guess for The Badger, but it would beat anything else for miles. I stayed 1 night and cannot fault anything and can only praise everything. The staff are great, the room was great, the food was great an this is on a night when it was blowing gale force 10 with rain...
