Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We really liked everything in the hotel. Quality services, calmness and great food quality. The decoration was nice and the location is helpful, outside of the busy village. Ideal for work or relaxation. Unfortunately, due to Covid we didn't have the chance to try the body-spa services but we will next time. Great service personnel, especially Maria which was to only kind but also helpful and a great person. Only improvement that needs to be done is the internet provider. The WiFi signal was not so stable.

Excellent rooms and common areas. This hotel is designed as it should for its mountainous location. Breakfast buffet is great. Great value for money. The location is great. Staff is helpful. Selling point for me are the Jacuzzi tubs in the rooms.

We stayed in a junior suite, a family of 4 with two kids 5 and 8 years old. The room was extremely clean, very spacious for the kids to play with their toys, the heating was totally great on a February weekend, the bathroom was luxurious with all the possible things you need provided! Breakfast was rich characterized by high quality and great variety with warm food being the pleasant surprise. We also had coffee in the hotel which was good. We also had dinner at the italian restaurant which was beyond our expectations. Very tasty and good prices for the area. Take notice that the restaurant opens at 7 so if you need food at your room, only cold food will be provided. The playroom was a pleasant surprise although it could easily provide more toys for the kids to play and have some fun.Parking is provided and easy to find. Concluding, if you do not mind driving 2km to get to the village nearby (parking is easily found when entering the village) this is just perfect.

Almost a year without writing(critisize) about a worldwide place and finally i found a place in my country to write for! Close to N.Ag. Athanasios it is established a rich resort named Kaimak Inn. I need to write the details for you travelers but believe me the database wouldn't fit them. All you need to know is that the photos can give you 100% what you expect and maybe more! An excellent service from truly helpful employees and rich building materials that will keep you safe in all weather circumstances! I will finally give my 5 stars also for the breakfast that i really didn't expect to be so king size!

What you see is what you get. The website does not lie. All pictures are real. I got a suite and it was exactly what I saw in the website. The room was very big and provides almost everything (bathroom amenities, slipers, room service). There is a wide screen flat 32 inch TV, a fireplace (which they set up every day so you can just light it up), new wood for the fireplace every day, a jacuzi in the bathroom and free WiFi in the room. The only thing is that the WiFi signal is not that strong and the speed not that good. Breakfast is OK. Not the best I ever had but has a good variety. The hotel lounge and bar is very nice and serves drinks and light food until 11.30. Prices are normal. There is an excelent play room for kids and grown ups that offers children movies in wall projector, pool tables, tabletop games etc. The restaurant was nice serving only grilled food but with good quality. The only serious issue is the location. It is about 2-3 Km uphill to Ag. Athanasios village and in case of bad weather conditions (my case) it is a bit dificult to go to the village. Would recommend for a romantic weekend or a weekend with the family.

A beautiful stone-built mountain hotel. All rooms look like they came out of a fairy tale. Jacuzzi in all rooms. Excellent mountain view from all rooms! The hotel staff was extremely polite. Very clean! Tasty breakfast and dinner.

very impressive architecture, beautiful cosy lobby bar -unfortunatelly there was a large t.v always on. restaurant very nice with tasty food and beautiful views very friendly and rather professional staff rooms -we had a two level suite-good in size with plasma t.v. ,fully stocked mini bar, wi-fi connection, hydromassage bathtub and plenty of bathoom amenities (they had toothbush/toothpaste among other things which is rare in greek hotels), slippers , bathrobes but were very small. there was also a fire place with plenty of woods which were replaced every day. it does not have spa facilities(indoor pool etc)but everything else was by far so much better than other hotels in the area which claim that they have spa and practically is a joke that for us did not mind much. room service was good also. if again in this area definatelly we will stay in this hotel again.

Nice and new hotel. The room was 2 floor. The fireplace was "energy" type and we did not enjoy it so much. Breakfast was very nice with wonderfull view. The hotel is located outside the village of palios agios athanasios but its only 5 minutes driving. Suggest this hotel strongly

It is one of the new comers to the region of Voras Mountain (otherwise known with the old Turkish name of Kaimak Calan ) and Old Hagios Athanasios. But beleive me it is a hotel that is here to stay. First of all Old Hagios Athanasios: Being protected by Unesco it is a pleasure to the eyes. Although it is mostly pedestrianized beware of cars passing through. Lots of restaurants that are of fantastic quality (yes I will tell you which ones) bars full of young people and people that are always smiling. The architecture is stone and wood all over. Parking your car is no problem. Even if you are not a skier make a point to go and have a coffee in the ski center of Voras (14 klms from the point you turn for the center) if it is a sunny day you will see for ever. The view of the Vegoritida lake will stay with you as a warm memory. The hotel: They have two types of rooms, rooms on the first floor and suites on the second. If you are I go to the toilet three times a night type prefer the rooms as the suites have an upper floor for bed rooms and it is a bit of a hustle to go down the stair in pitch dark to go the toilet as have no toilets in the upper floor during the night. Breakfast is exceptional quality, the restaurant is very good and the staff is with one word terrific. WE HAVEN'T BEEN TO ALL THE RESTAURANTS SO IF SOMEONE HAS ANOTHER OPINION I AM ALWAYS OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS. But those restaurants that we have been in should not be missed: 1) Naoumidis in Hagios Panteleimonas (prefer the road around the lake starting from Arnissa the view of the lake is very beautiful.) 2)Kaliva in Old Hagios Athanasios (the owner is quite a character, he will give the sweets or anything else free and the food is fantastic.) 3)Petrino in Panagitsas 4)Lithos in O.H.A. We could not go and eat to Thomas in Sklitro (nearly 40 klms from O.H.A.) it is supposed to be very good as well. So the rest is up to you to discover.
