Room 4 for one night. Very clean with a modern en-suite. Only towels and small soap provided in bathroom. Good complimentaries otherwise. The shape of this room is querky in order to accommodate the en-suite. Probably only OK for one person. Adequate to stay in as a base for local travelling. Picturesque village. Free parking in community car park with... More

I've stayed in a few pub b&bs recently and had been put off by the whole idea, but the Silverton Inn is a real gem. Very cheap as its not ensuite, the room and Inn are lovely and the village of Silverton is a real gem. Worth a visit just to see the beautiful 1,000 year old Oak Tree. Some... More

Don't let the entrance through the bar get your expectations lowered. This hotel was by far the best we visited on our 12 day trip through the south of England. Checking in at the bar while they're people sipping from their beers is a little weird at first but went very fast. The receptionist showed us around and finally showed... More

We hadn't checked the need to advise of an early arrival, but were warmly greeted nevertheless. I was fortunately upgraded to a massive double at the top of the stairs with en-suite which was in excellent condition. We had an evening meal which was outstanding in quality and value. Breakfast excellent too, so no complaints at all. Staff all very... More

Stopped Friday and Saturday nights to attend a nearby wedding. Room 7 was clean and simple but very well finished and had everything one would need including tea making facilities, iron and ironing board. Good shower in the en-suite. We were made very welcome by Shane. Breakfast was very good full English with options for cereals and fruit juices. Far... More

We stayed just one night, and I cannot fault the place. We were welcomed warmly. The rooms were spotless and nicely decorated. Soft towels and toiletries were provided, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was hearty, smelled and tasted great, and nicely presented, with a good selection of cereals and yoghurts too. Nothing but praise for this... More

Absolutely brilliant, food superb, room fantastic, service second to none. If you're in this part of the world this hotel is a must. Far better than most places I've stayed in, a little Devon gem! Thanks Shane and your team, we had a fabulous stay. Cannot recommend highly enough

Lovely village, nice pub and good breakfast. We didn't have dinner but will stay there again if we needed to break our stay. We were a bit surprised to find that our loo was along the corridor. We had thought it was en suite.
