I was passing though stopped in staff was wonderful,room was clean and grounds were too. Great nights sleep and good breakfast. Staff was friendly and vary helpful. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel vary much.

Lobby smelled of smoke. Our reservation was incorrect. The place was run down and a bit scary. We did not feel comfortable staying there so we left and found a hotel in Columbus. I would not ever stay at this location.More

In late February, 2015, I booked a room at the Starkville, MS Days Inn for March 5, 2015, paying close to $100 in advance by credit card. An ice storm cancelled the event in Starkville which I was scheduled to attend and made driving especially hazardous on all 125+ miles from my house to Starkville. I cancelled the reservation early in the morning of March 5 because of the ice storm. The management at the Days Inn at Starkville has refused to refund my payment. I will never stay in this or any other Days Inn anywhere and am working with my credit card carrier to be reimbursed by the Starkville Day's Inn.

I do not see a question to answer. This response by the Day's Inn management doesn't surprise me. They clearly don't want you to come visit again. You can do better next time.
