Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

1) Couldn't buy any food or drink etc., they advertised a cafe, non existent. The next day we had to drive back to Seaford and buy food from Woolworths & a tray from Big W to place the food on in the oven of the spa cabin we rented for 2 nights. We also had to purchase a clock radio at Big W no clock in the bedrooms. 2) Older female staff was rude to my wife when we arrived first day, she rudely said you finally made it. 3) The Banksia SPA cabin was a joke the fridge wouldn't keep anything cold even when we turned the dial on full, only the freezer worked. 4) The double bed was so low down it was horrible. 5) We asked before we came if two people could fit in the spa, only one person could, and no offence to any obese people you wouldn't fit into it. 6) Both the sliding doors wouldn't lock properly we had to force them to lock. 7) Porch light didn't work. 8) Now for the park itself it's a fire hazard, Big gas cylinder's placed in between cabins, dry paddocks surround the boundaries of the park, alot of dry leaves clogging drains on permanent resident homes, couldn't find any fire fighting gear etc. 9) Activities were lame e.g. mini golf wasn't operating, pool to small, games room is run down. My wife and I haven't been away to the beach for ten years because 4 years ago she had a tumor on her right eye lid she had toget it removed she only had 6 months to live, and 2 years ago I went through 20 treatments of radiation for prostate cancer. We paid $380 for this extremely horrible experience and in the end we only spent 45 minutes in the beach because of us having to go to Seaford to get food. This caravan park needs a fire & safety inspection immediately. Not all reviews are accurate on their site either is their description of what the cabins are like.

Quiet camp. Need to drive to the beach. Really nice modern en-suite on caravan site and large shower cubicle but ramp needed to get up the step on to the deck outside it. Internet provision by Nomadnet was totally non-existent and access never available. Not secure either, so very disappointed with the lack of this facility compared with other camps.

It is worth noting that there seems to be plenty of kids activities. Their cabins are NOT self contained. Also their internet is patchy to say the least. To get a consistent signal I had to be offsite. (apparently only ADSL on site) Very annoying when you are trying to arrange where to go for the following day. Attractions, driving distances etc. They have bins scattered throughout the site for cans & glass, but I failed to see anything for paper, cardboard PET bottles etc.

Hello, thankyou for leaving us a review! Some but unfortunatly not all of our cabins are self contained depnding on your budget and which cabin available at the time. The WIFI is definitely something we have been working on for a long time and where the park is located is why we are having trouble getting NBN broadband... thankyou for bearing with us on that. We do recycle cardboard and PET bottles as we have one bin at the back of the park however we keep it locked to minitor what goes into it. We will most happily recycle your things for you next time. Kind Regards, Park Management

Great park, so much for kids to do and close to beaches. Staff always friendly and helpful. Clean facilities. Large level powered sites in bush setting. Second visit this year and will certainly visit again.

There is a lot to keep the children amused. Some come with a price ie go carts $5 for 1/2 hour. I travel by myself and it was very relaxing. Not sure what it would be like during school holidays. I stayed in a deluxe cabin and really appreciated the tv being able to be turned so could watch it in bed ofr in the seating area. I will return.

We booked and fully paid through Wotif after specifying 2 adults and 1 child. Once we arrived at the property I was told that this booking did not cover my son and that I would need to pay an additional $95.96. I was told that this was a common occurrence with Wotif bookings. Now, reading the fine print of the Wotif booking it states that the booking covered 2 adults and that an additional child is $18.45 per night. We only stayed 4 nights so have been over-charged. If this is a common issue with Wotif then the park should have resolved this instead of forcing people to pay additional charges once it is too late for them to consider if they could have got better value for the higher charge elsewhere.

We stayed in our caravan and the facilities were ok. We were put on a site on the Oz Circuit area of the park which is set away from the rest of the park so it was quite peaceful. However it was a bit of a walk to the facilities and we were along the driveway so had some traffic noise. Also we had Wi-Fi options but couldn’t pick up any reliable signal from our site. The site was over mulch bark so we had no sullage point for our waste water. There are some nice sites in the park but the Oz Circuit area is a bit removed. The back half of the park seems to be made up predominantly of permanent residents so not really a holiday park. The beach is just a few hundred metres down the road but the road is busy and there is no path to get there. Only average here for us.

Spent 2 nights there before heading to Cape Jervis to take a ferry to Kangaroo Island. After knowing that our campervan didn’t need a powered site, the kind and friendly reception staff helped us to downgrade ours to an unpowered site. A medium sized caravan park with plenty of trees and shades. It was the 2nd half of May and the park was quiet. The toilet was big and clean and the hot shower was good. Unfortunately the camp kitchen was under renovation and couldn’t be used. The down side of travelling in low season. Luckily there was a kettle in the laundry room. A short drive to Aldinga where both your stomach, car and fridge could be replenished.

Spa Sheok cabin, clean, tidy and spacious enough for 6. Kids loved air hockey, table tennis and playgrounds but disappointed no jumping pillow or blow up slide. The weather was apparently too windy and pillow damaged so usually this would be super fun and make it even better. Overall convenient and value for quick getaway from Adelaide. Really friendly staff and great customer service!!
