Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wonderfully located and well appointed park. Great staff Ideal stop off for visiting Adelaide. Plenty of shops nearby and only a few minutes to the city. En suite was very clean and the shower was great. There was even a Koala resident in the park

What a great park! Lots of trees, creek & cool swimming pool - just the thing when it gets over 35°C. And so close to the city. A shopping centre is only 6 min away. Tracy, front desk, was very accommodating. I needed an early check in, no problem. I needed a sunny, unpowered site, no problem. I had battery problems so I needed a late checkout, no problem. She even rang when I was on the road again to see if everything was OK!! That’s great service. Thanks Tracy.

Our stay was disappointing, why our power site was was opposite amenities block which was filthy and the dump point. Every time someone went into the toilet block the door would slam and you couldn’t sleep as it woke you. The smell from the dump point was awful. The person that closed the pool at night and let his dogs do his number 2’s in there was also disgusting.

Caravan park was amazing. Great location. Picturesque and quiet. However amenities were filthy. Toilets and shower block were not cleaned during our 5 day stay over the high season/New Year period. No toilet paper or soap for 24 hours until 3 people complained and it was refilled. Hair and rubbish left in showers. Floor was dirty. Spoke to other campers who were angry with lack of cleaning.

Cleanest caravan park yet! Very well maintained facilities, close to Adelaide but far enough away to relax. Fantastic location, walking tracks and lots of nature. We were advised on our first night that there was an event on in the park, we were slightly apprehensive as we’d experienced the night from hell at another caravan park where the music didn’t stop till well after 2am, however Brownhill were extremely respectful of their visitors and we were not disturbed at all.

Camped here for one night as it was booked out, otherwise would have stayed longer. Lovely place amongst the trees. New clean bathrooms. A little cafe, so you don’t even have to leave the park. Nice walking track just over the road. A great spot. Will definitely be back

we hired a cabin, first thing we got when we opened the door was a putrid smell of cooking grease the exhaust fan on stove was full of fat, secondly went to get broom to sweep the floor it was behind the toilet when lifted out it was covered in chunks of human hair, one of the pillows had not been cleaned and stunk of BO, we had to wash all dishes before use as they had not been washed but rinsed poorly. floor was putrid over all a disgusting place unfortunately we could not get alternative accommodation as Adelaide was booked out. on speaking to other tenants no one had a good word. very very overpriced for what you get like no Internet, phone coverage totally hopeless

Brownhill Creek is absolutely in an amazing spot very pretty and peaceful however the state of the cabins especially #2 was so bad. Myself & family members all stayed here and paid nearly $2000 to have non working fridges, aircons that barely work, beds that had dirty sheets and towels and rodents all throughout the cabins. When i spoke to management about the state of the cabins she told me that the fridges where brand new and that it couldn't have ruined $60 of bbq meat. I than told her about the dirty sheets and that a band-aid was actually still on a single bed donna, to which she told me that they are changed every visit. All 3 cabins we rented for the few days were exactly the same. You also get no service and get time zones for the internet. Just some photos of the disappointments. Pool area was nice at least and the bbq area. Rest is utter trash

We used Brownhill Caravan Park as a base so we could explore Adelaide and have a place to secure our caravan and vehicle while we travelled on The Ghan Railway from Adelaide to Darwin, and returning to Adelaide. The facilities were clean and we were thrilled to see koalas in the trees and enjoy the birdlife too. Only disappointment was the lack of internet service due to the park being located in foothills. The staff were friendly and helpful.
