My husband and I stayed in a ground level room 2 nights. The sheets and sink were clean, but that was it. The toilet hadn't been scrubbed in weeks, the tops of high items in the room, like the mirror and headboards, were covered with dust and cobwebs, as were the lampshades. There were dead flies on the sink and...

This is a dirty, moldy, nasty hotel. The heater rattled and keep us awake until we finally turned it off. Mold in the bathroom let us know its never cleaned. The owners may be from a third world county but the guests are not. Louisville has limited hotel room so there's not many options. I would avoid the Home Gate...

Stayed here for a MS State game, wish we'd have looked harder for another place. It's close to campus, there is ample parking and the price is cheap - only positives. Beds uncomfortable, room not especially clean, and felt a little nervous about my vehicle in the lot.

We arrived about 10 pm and had to ring the office door bell. Upon arriving in our room, the tv did not work. We called them and after a lengthy wait, they left us with a new flat screen tv instead. Rooms were NOT as nice as pictured on the internet. Beds not so comfy, but for the low price,...

This motel is very pleasant and roomy. Even though the number of cars in the parking lot indicated the place was full, I never heard any of the other guests. I had to leave at 5 am, so I missed out on the breakfast, but I did notice at check-in that there was a separate room for eating breakfast, as...

This is such a nice place to stay. The new management has done a wonderful job. It has recently been renovated and feels like home! The staff are accomodating and very personable. It is also a very quiet place. I will continue to stay here while in Louisville!

Stayed this past weekend, the rooms were clean and neat. No problems with check-in or check-out. Great value. We'll be back.

“No elevators so suggest a lower level room or atleast not near the stairs. We did appreciate the new tv they brought in when our older tv did not work.We arrived late so not sure about surrounding attractions, We were going to a rodeo in town the next morning so did not have a chance at any other sites. There was no restaurant and no fitness center and no wifi to my knowledge. VERY basic older motel. The best thing about it for us was the price and it did serve our purpose, but I would not advise a lengthy stay here!”
