There's much to like at this small hotel. The rooms are elegant, the staff is friendly, the courtyard is charming, and the location is perfect for accessing downtown Jackson. But a few missteps marred our trip. The rooms are not at all sound proof - a neighbor's television feels as if it is in the room. The noise from the...

We had a nice, pleasant stay here. The walls are thin, so you could be disturbed by your neighbors, though this wasn't a problem we had. The rooftop bar is cute and the breakfast buffet had a nice selection.

We stopped here for one night while traveling the Natchez Trace. We expected an old grand hotel. Nothing spectacular. The room was small, but comfortable. The bathroom was tiny and some of the fixtures could have used some extra cleaning. The concierge was very kind and had a splendid dinner recommendation (Parlor Market). Breakfast was tasty and friendly staff.

Our room in the hotel was nice with small balcony overlooking the courtyard. But I feel we did not get what we paid for. We went to the roof top bar at 6.30 and asked about getting some food and were told the chef had gone home as they didn't think anyone was staying! Hard to believe when there was...

We stayed here as part of a wedding party as the reception was at this hotel. On the outside the building has no indication that the interior is wonderful. Each room is different as far as decor and layout. A couple of rooms I saw had the bedroom on a lower level and living space up top. I think all...

We happened upon this boutique hotel through trip advisor, and it was definitely a good recommendation! The staff is attentive and friendly. We arrived about an hour before check in, so our rooms were not ready. We were immediately offered complimentary cocktails that were enjoyed in their beautiful courtyard during our wait. Our rooms were a bit smallish, but updated...

I recently ate at the Old Capital Inn for a lunch meeting. The dining room was very nice. Our waiter paid great attention to detail, and the food was wonderful. I had the trio salad plate and it was all very tasty.

My husband and I were passing through Jackson on our way to the Gulf Coast and stayed here based on Trip Advisor recommendations. We are happy to say that the place lived up to the accolades. Though our standard room was very small, it was lovely and the amenities were top notch. Loved the Keurig coffee maker so we had...
