My friend and I were dong the Natchez Trace and my friend found this bed and breakfast for our second night on the trip. What a great quaint little place this was. We enjoyed the great hospitality of everyone we met. We felt like we were visiting family we had never met

I really enjoyed staying in this log cabin and checking out the other buildings, it was like stepping back in time. The room was very clean and comfortable and we awoke to a very good (and plentiful) breakfast the next morning. This was very convenient as we were doing the Natchez Trace trail from one end to the other.

We really enjoyed our stay at French Camp. We stayed at the Jr B&B. The cabin was meticulous and we had a great relaxing stay! We will be back! We had a lite dinner of soup salad and sandwich at the cafe on the grounds. Very good. Glad we decided to eat there the nearest other option was 15 +...

We stayed in the JR cabin with our FOUR young kids. The cabin was quaint and cozy, it wasn't five star but that's not what you come to French Camp looking for. We got up early the next morning and explored the historic village and then headed back to the main house for a hot, country breakfast. The staff was...

We had a group of 6 cyclists who were riding the Natchez Trace from Tupelo to Natchez. I had my best shower is years in the downstairs bathroom at the B&B Jr Cabin. I have already booked the rooms for our group to return in 2017

Beautiful little B£B. The owners were very nice and accommodating. We saw fire flies while sitting on the porch, which I haven't seen since I was a little girl. The breakfast was delicious. We were only there overnight but would definitely stay again if in the area. You will enjoy your stay.

We started our trip down the trace at French Camp just so we could stay here. Original log cabins serve as the B&B nestled in a quaint village. Part of the Academy which is a wonderful institution . Dinner at the council is simple and good. Don't miss the bread pudding. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. A Must!!!!!

French camp is just off the trace, very conveniently located for bicyclists. We (2 couples) stayed in the 2-bedroom cabin. There is a bath upstairs and downstairs. We ate dinner at the camp restaurant- sandwiches, salads, soup. The food was good, helpings large & prices reasonable. The service was excellent-friendly & prompt. Our beds were comfortable, and all 4 in our...

We decided to stay at French Camp B&B as it was well located for our drive up the Natchez Trace, and because I was intrigued with the idea of staying in an historic log cabin. We stayed for two nights. Staff were warm and welcoming, but the cabin itself and its setting were disappointing. We stayed in the B&B Jr....

This was a beautiful B&B. My two sisters and I were traveling to Pisgah Inn in N. Carolina and this was our overnight stay on the way. We were pleasantly surprised with the cabin and the surrounding area. It was a quiet setting and we had a lovely swing and sitting area on our front porch. The beds were comfortable...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
French Camp Academy’s Bed and Breakfast is one of the few B & Bs located adjacent to the Natchez Trace Parkway. In 1986, French Camp Academy moved two clerestory log cabins built between 1840 and 1870 from Eupora, Mississippi, to French Camp. They were placed side by side and joined together with an addition matching the period architecture. Some of the original pine logs are 18 inches in diameter. The inn officially began receiving visitors in March 1987. ... more   less
