As the driver of our Cougar Line water taxi dropped us off at the jetty on our arrival here he said "Don't relax too much or your heart will stop." Having been here for three days I see exactly what he meant. The weather may not have been the best at the start but it got better. Our room was...

From the moment we stepped off the boat and were greeted by Murray, Elaine and Kate we knew we were in for a special couple of days! We were treated like friends but looked after in a very unpretentious way. We loved Murray's wine tastings (I learnt more from him about wine than I have from any other wine tasting)...

The warmest of welcomes is offered here by Murray and Elaine along with their exceptional staff. We chose to stay here at the half way point of our trip from north to South Island on Valentine's Day as a treat and enjoyed a few days rest and relaxation before heading on our journey.. It was the perfect place with stunning...

A wonderful location but made more wonderful by the staff and their friendly welcome. The rooms are dotted up the hill with views over the stunning bay. As keen walkers we took on the Peanut Slab challenge and reached the lookout in 45mins - 400m of ascent in 2km from the resort. Stunning 360degree views, we'd earned our Peanut Slab!...

We stayed here while we walked the Queen Charlotte Track. Coming in each evening to Murray and Elaine's fabulous welcome, truly amazing meals and comfortable beds made this 'bucket-list' activity very special indeed for us. Definitely worth stretching the budget to enjoy this unforgettable experience.

The BoMC Resort really is a luxurious retreat deep in Queen Charlotte Sound, just right to stop, enjoy the beauty and splendour, the peace and quiet, and the exceptionally warm and personal welcome and service. It is miles from anywhere, accessible only by boat, and quite compact, but has everything you could want - gorgeous, spacious and comfortable luxury lodges,...

After a few days of cycling round the wineries of Marlborough, we drove the short journey to Picton whereupon we boarded a boat to Bay of Many Coves. The resort is accessible only by boat or helicopter so we knew we were going to be in for a quiet and secluded few days which was just what we wanted. And...

After two weeks in the North Island we spent three very happy and relaxing days at BOMC. From the very personal welcome, through to our departure date we were subject to wonderful service, great food and a beautiful place to relax in great comfort. All the staff were brilliant, Murray and Elaine should be proud of them all. Water taxi...

A fantastic location with water taxi access only, providing a secluded location for a very quiet peaceful break. Walks through the woods are challenging and get the heart racing but stimulating and most enjoyable. The food is gourmet standard and we looked forward to the meal every night, thoroughly enjoyable. Quite expensive, due to its isolated position and quality food...
