My wife's family held a reunion at Hiawatha Beach in late July. We had a great time. The beach is great and the staff are extremely friendly. Most of us stayed in cabins, which were nice, and a few were camping. There are getting to be fewer resorts that offer both. The resort has fun activities for the kids. Leech...

This is one of our most favorite campgrounds! It is a real gem, especially if you have kids. There is a nice swimming area; easy access to boating as it is right on Leech lake, fishing docks. The water trampolines, lily pad floating mats & paddle boats are available free to guest. There is also a pool, hot tub and...

Not only is this in some of the most beautiful parts of Northern Minnesota, it resides right on Leech Lake. I have been going to not only Walker but Hiawatha for a good part of my life and I would not go elsewhere. The Family at Hiawatha is utterly amazing! You could go for a weekend and sit on the...

We have spent a week each July for the last 4 years and we have no desire to try any other resort!!! We absolutely love this resort and the family that owns it. They are always so welcoming!! My husband, pug, and I stayed for a week over July 4th, 2015 in cabin #6. It was a delightful experience for all of us. The cabin was stocked with dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, pots/pans, etc. They also supplied a charcoal grill and fire pit. We only brought beach towels, but we were able to get towels and washcloths from...

We camp in several different locations every year but this is by far our favorite place!!! Family owned, with awesome people that are always accommodating!! Beach is wonderful for our three kids! Kids love the indoor pool and hot tub on rainy days. Clean and comfortable camping spots. Even with the trees of Minnesota we can fit our 42' camper!...

I had my wedding here at Hiawatha. I had to sign a wedding contract twice because they lost my paperwork. Then after signing off on the menu the cook came up to me the day before my wedding and asked what he was supposed to do. Every time we called or came over to talk about setting up we talked...

HI Emily, This is Ben I am sure you remember me as I worked with you you and Rocky extensively. I just saw this review that you posted and I was SHOCKED. I remember saying good-bye to you as you walked out the door Sunday after you and your family loaded up your decorations and gifts. Both you and Rocky...

We shared a cabin with another family and together had 4 kids 2-5 years old. It was a perfect set up, full kitchen, nice deck, big yard, close to the beach which the kids of course loved, the rocket launch was the cutest thing ever--don't miss that if you have little ones, we ate on the patio a few times,...

Very friendly staff, and we felt very welcome. The facilities aren't quite done with either renovation or completion of building. The prices for the lodges are quite spendy, but the use of water toys are included in price apparently, so they evens out the cost kinda. Awesome activities for kids, and can't say enough about how nice the staff are.

It nice to hear that you had such a great time. We are always looking for more amenities for our guest to use for no additional cost. This years addition of the stand up paddle boards have been received with great success. The Woosh (a 20'x5' floating slip and slide) was also a great addition. It has been wonderful to...
