Great visit to Turning Waters. Brenda was a splendid host. Great location, very homey, fabulous breakfast and beer tasting was an unexpected extra. Wabasha itself was a surprise. We visited the National Eagle Center and learned a great deal. Bald Eagles are ubiquitous in the area due to unique topography.

Brian, thank you and yes, Wabasha and the area has many eagles especially in the cold winter months. The river doesn't typically freeze over completely so fishing for the eagles is prime. Raised in Kellogg, MN, just 6 miles away makes home worth coming home too:) Cheers to seeing you again. Brenda & Ford

We have stayed at over 50 B and B's over the last 25 years and this by far is in the top 3. The home is so welcoming and warm. This was our second visit here we love it so much. The inn keepers are your friends/family the minute you walk in the door. Morning breakfast is scrumptious and plentiful....

We stayed at Turning Waters for the 2nd time a month or so ago. They have new ownership since the last time we were there and our stay was outstanding. Very fun husband and wife, Brenda and Ford, who have great plans for the place. The food was excellent, as in the past, but they have added craft beer to...

We are happy to hear your second trip to our home was a great as the first trip to Wabasha. Yes, we have plenty of eagles to dazzle you and Ford's craftbeer is always a delight to enjoy. Our local meats and produce are grown with the best care, especially our kale, rosemary and pumpkins, my 3 favorites. See you...

Had a great stay and experience at Turning Waters B&B. The "Great Lakes Suite" was clean and comfortable. Brenda is an excellent host, and breakfast was delicious. Within walking distance, we enjoyed a Mexican dinner at Los Portales, and had a great time eagle watching at the National Eagle Center. Great weekend adventure!

Thank you Linda! We are glad you made the trek down to see us and your famous photo at Los Portales will live on forever:) So glad you had the chance to experience our National Eagle Center. The eagles have been out in full force this year, especially March. See you along the adventure trails. Brenda

Wonderful time we had while visiting this past weekend. Everything was great, your hospitality is unmatched and my Wife said it was perfect B-day weekend. You will be on our recommendation list for family and friends for sure. Best of luck with the brewery and we will be keeping tabs on the house and your projects. With kindness,

We stayed at Turning Waters B & B for the Grumpy Old Men Festival. Brenda, Ford and Ford Jr. were amazing hosts. They even particpated in the Grumpy Old Men Plunge into the water, to raise money for their local Rotary Club. They are so well connected within the community and provided us with great recommendations during our stay ....

This is the B&B for you if you want to stay in a beautiful older home with modern amenities that's not crammed full of quilts and antiques. (no offense if you love that kind of B&B!) We loved our suite with the cozy fireplace and whirlpool tub. The breakfasts were fabulous - bacon, scones, etc - and the owners are...

Thank you for your review and we are happy you enjoy a B&B without antiques and quilts (however I love them both, just not in my B&B). We like to think of our home as a history lesson in time via all the maps around and photos of "Minnesotan's" having fun in the winter etc... We are in fact brewing...

My wife and I did a Fri-Sat here for an early Valentines weekend. The cool cloudy weather could not dampen this experience. Under "B&B", the Webster Picture Dictionary has a photo of this place, or at least it should. Brenda and Ford have created a lovely atmosphere that allows you to engage the always interesting(and often, repeat) guests in conversation...

We are so happy that you enjoyed yourself in our home. YES, we have many eagles to view in the winter months, snow, outdoor activities and more... Both myself and Ford love to make healthy breakfasts and Ford is the master at the beer. We hope you will come back again and we can have more conversation over beer. Cheers...

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Turning Waters B&B! The house was charming and we loved our room with double whirlpool, fireplace, & king size bed. Brenda & Ford were very welcoming and we enjoyed getting to know them and sampling their beers. Breakfast was a delicious five course meal! We will definitely be back!
