This just might be the best value on Lake Superior. They just do not let you build this close to the lake anymore and their prices cannot be beat. Magnificent view of the lake from all of the units and from their sprawling deck 50 feet away from the lake shore of magnificent Lake Superior. Check this out and compare... More

We first stayed at the Chateau Leveaux on our honeymoon in 1986 and have been back many times since then as a couple and with our children. This visit was just me and one son. We stayed in one of the hotel rooms-there are just 3 and are really only $69/night. The condominiums are more expensive. The view of Lake... More

My family and I decided to take a little trip up north and we found this wonderful place! Of course after reading some of the negative reviews I wasn't quite sure what to expect when checking in....to my surprise, it was super clean with an excellent staff. Besides the great view, the room was comfy and clean with a rustic... More

A half empty parking lot at 6:30 on a Thursday night was not enough incentive to have the staff honour a large roadside sign advertising rooms for $69 mid week. As a middle aged couple with no kids and no pets, non smokers or drinkers we are normally considered ideal guests. I was told there are only a few rooms... More

Good Morning Bill, Thank you for your thoughts. I am sorry we did not have a vacancy that met your needs. As you can see and please check our website also, we are a small resort. We are owner owned and have 21 units in the rental pool that are 1 and 2 bedroom units available for two night minimums.... More

The perfect place to stay when visiting the North Shore. So quiet and relaxing. Each unit faces Lake Superior. There are walk ways down to the rock to the lake. There is a pool and small game room. A perfect place for couples.

Six of us, my husband and I and my 2 brothers and their wives, stayed in a 2-bedroom condo. It also had a loft with 2 twin beds. It was a little crowded, but we had a wonderful time being together. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The front lobby and deck overlooking the lake... More

Same review I left on Yelp. Some bullet points: Perfect shoreline for us - cliffs, trees, views Allows pets! Rooms don't smell or feel like a pet has ever been in them - they definitely keep them clean. Pool and hot tub are immaculate and clean - and with views! Each room is unique I think - no way they... My wife and I had stayed at several other lodges along the North Shore and this was by far the worst! The only nice thing we say about the lodge is that it is next to Lake Superior. Other than that our silverware was dirty (spotted), bed I am afraid to say was horrible and may have had flees (pet... More

The "cabin" we had was actually within the lodge, but we had a fireplace (wood burning), a full kitchen and an island with seating. There was an issue in our room when we first checked in, but it was immediately and satisfactorily taken care of by the time we got back from the store. We would stay here again. Skiing... More
