My wife and I wanted to take a weekend trip and experience Stillwater. We wanted to be close to the historic downtown without paying B&B prices. We tried the Lowell Inn as an alternative. The location is superb. Our room was in the historic wing. It was small, but adequate. If you need a desk, dresser/TV center, closet, two sinks,...

I love this place. The rooms are clean and unique. Service at the front desk is prompt and friendly. Best of all this is walking distance to the main street in Stillwater. We had a king jacuzzi room. The tub was wonderful...just what we needed after a day of shopping. We had breakfast in the restaurant the next morning. Scrambled...

Stayed here for the weekend in one of the old Victorian rooms. It was very reasonably priced and rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff was very nice and welcoming and the maid service was exceptional. The hotel has onsite parking that they validate and you are right smack dab in downtown walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants....

My husband & I were in Stillwater, MN to browse and shop at the Antique stores in town and came across the lovely Lowell Inn. We decided to stop-in for a bite of lunch. We were seated in the George Washington room which recreates the elegance, charm & romance of Colonial Williamsburg. The food was delicious and the pace was...

My husband and I had a lovely breakfast at the Lowell Inn. The Lowell Inn has been there since 1927.The dining room is lovely and features beautiful chandeliers and ornately carved antique grandfather clocks and a picture of George Washington. I had a Denver Omelet with breakfast potatoes, an English muffin and a bit of pretty fruit served upon the...

I was pretty disappointed in my experience here. I expected an older, quaint hotel, but that isn't exactly what this is. Our room had a "bathroom" which was separated from the bedroom by a curtain and not a wall or a door. This is just a strange configuration. All night long, the hotel had a radio ad on repeat, playing...

The Lowell Inn serves great food that actually tastes good. On a shopping trip to Stillwater, we stopped for lunch, their special being a chicken salad on rye. The room was full but we only waited about 10 minutes. The Lowell had such atmosphere, great service and a great menu. I have to say, I was surprised that the chicken...

Stayed at the Lowell Inn for our anniversary. Really impressed with the historic atmosphere. Room was very clean and enjoyable. Had the Honeymoon Suite for under $200! Exceptional value. Ate in the Matterhorn room which has a fondue dinner. Absolutely Wonderful! We WILL return.

Fun mini-adventure from Minneapolis. Hotel feels very European...antiques and style. One block into the town center. Beautifully maintained. We opted for room in the old wing, and loved the room. Made us smile and think of Europe...beautiful but understand that it is very true to period. Fun and nice welcoming. The town is very festive for the holidays but with...

We came here for a dinner that was being offered by a financial company. We were given three entree choices and I chose the filet mignon well done. Surprisingly, they got it right! At first I was concerned because it looked a little charred on the outside but it was quite tender. It was served with mashed potatoes and asparagus....
