The rooms and decor are old but add to the character of the inn. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend the fondue dinner and Sunday brunch. Good location to downtown Stillwater Spent the weekend here with my daughter. We had a great time!

The venue and history in the hotel is beautiful. But the service is the worst any wedding couple should experience. Not only did we have several promises broken, but very rude responses to our concerns leading up to, during, and after the reception. My husband and I loved the ven

We actually stayed here for just one night in Oct 2016 after we got married earlier in day. We had a honeymoon 6 wks later but still wanted to do something special that night. The inn is beautiful! We got some nice pics in our wedding attire. Dinner was great and the fondue was a

Nice old inn. I love the fixtures. The room was clean. The pillows were like sleeping on a rock. The shower had no water pressure and only a small amount of hot water. The service was okay. Walkable to the Main Street.

Do the rooms have hair dryers in them?
I would ask at the desk to see if there is a hair dryer in the room and if not, have one sent to the room.

Do you trust your housekeeping staff? We recently stayed at your establishment and were very satisfied until we realized our I-pad bag and red woolen I-pad cover with swiss embroidery and silver swiss buttons (hand-made and very loved) was stolen from our room. The last time we saw it was on Wed, June 24 in room 232. (2015) We called and spoke to Tim and since then have heard nothing. (Also, in the bag was the charger for the I-pad (heavy duty white). We always made sure the room was locked when we departed. The only entry would have been the housekeeper or management.
I'm sorry our guest felt obligated to post this. They called days after their departure to let us know they left the bag. It was in a very inconspicuous location when found. I was informed that the guests were contacted and the bag and cover has been mailed back to them. And yes, we trust our housekeeping staff with our guests valuables. I understand the cover had a strong personal attachment, and hope they get many more years of enjoyment fro it.
