An experience we will never forget, everything has been considered to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. From heaters, electric blankets, hot water bottles to fire pits, prepared meals for purchase, craft beers and wines for purchase and some other goodies, vegetable garden and clean toilet facilities with steaming hot showers. It’s got it all and I definitely recommend staying for a nice peaceful getaway from the city life.

My wife and I stayed here for one night and it was amazing. The staff were very friendly. The retreat was so nice and very well laid out. We stayed in one of the bell tents and it was just like the pictures. The bed was comfortable the heating was great (it was a cold night). The cooking area was clean and tidy with a great range of pots and pans and fridges. We were not sure what the meals would be like that you can buy on-site, so we brought our own meals but next time we go we will get the meals onsite as they looked very nice with a great range. We did have ice creams for deserts. Yum Next time we are down we will be staying a few more nights here. Sitting around the fire at night was very special and a great way to spend a night looking at the stars. Treat yourself and enjoy this place we loved it.

We stopped in at Bay of Fires Bush Retreat overnight on our honeymoon trip up the East Coast and we absolutely loved it. I was skeptical when I first booked as we were traveling in the middle of Tassie winter and I thought we'd both freeze in the camp-style setup, but we were super happy with the entire experience. Tom was so welcoming and friendly on arrival and gave us a tour to go through everything that we needed for our stay. Our bell tent was clean, well presented, and functional with heaters on either side of the bed plus electric blankets on both sides so that temperatures could be adjusted based on personal preference. We were surprisingly warm and cosy all night, even when we could hear the cold 2° wind blowing outside. The communal amenities block was lovely and modern, super clean and tidy, and just close enough to our tent to make a quick dash to without being too close to hear everything going on in there. The showers were nice and hot with a private change space attached, although not somewhere to stand around in as the cold air gets in and is ice cold in winter! I liked that they opt to use rainwater on-site, as this adds to the feel and atmosphere of the entire setting. The communal kitchen and dining space was such a cool spot that we really enjoyed. The honesty system for food and drinks was like a breath of fresh air and made us feel right at home given we didn't have a lot with us for the night. When we finished dinner we parked next to a fire pit for a few hours and it was so lovely just to wind down in peace there. We followed the reviews and booked the breakfast platter that's made in-house which was the best start to our day and super tasty! Overall it was an awesome experience and an absolute must-do if you want to stay somewhere unique, relaxed and fun.

We spent two nights in a bell tent and loved everything about the retreat. We are not campers so this was a great way for us to spend a couple of nights in the bush, highlights food - frozen meals followed by a Valhalla cone - bed was very comply - clean hot showers - all of the staff, we left something behind and it was promptly posted to us and a surprise veggie and herb garden which we visited each night. Don’t think twice you will love it 😍
