A wonderful experience in a peaceful bush setting. Beautifully designed from the glamping teepee tents with very cosy beds, to the spacious shared outdoor chef's kitchen with dining and bar space, to the spacious seating around fire pits, to the lovely and well equipped amenities block, to the "help yourself vegetable garden" - the entire venue and experience is a must!
A great experience in a beautiful location.Really friendly guests , staff and owners. Glamping is the way to go and I thoroughly recommend Bay of Fires Bush Retreat on Tasmania’s beautiful East Coast. We will be back.
The canvas bell tents are large and comfortable, the platter, breakfast and other food are top class and generously sized, and every aspect of the retreat is beautifully designed from the landscaping to the fire pits. Well worth a visit for a relaxing immersion in a stylish hand-crafted retreat close to one of the greatest beaches in the world.
My now husband Marty and I have stayed at the Bay of Fires Bush Retreat on several occasions. It is a place we fell in love with from our first visit and is now one we feel regularly drawn to return to. We have stayed as a couple, as a group (booking out the entire venue), and for our wedding ceremony and reception. It really has become one of our happy places, with Tom and Anna making sure our wedding at the Retreat was a magical day we will always cherish. Anna and Tom are wonderful humans and have clearly spent endless hours making sure the Bush Retreat is the best place for people to come to feel relaxed, calm, and rejuvenated. The standard of the service, the incredibly scrumptious food, and the quality of the accommodation cannot be faulted. We simply love it!
What a place!! Don’t book one night. Two a minimum and we had three. Tom and Anna have done a marvellous job to make this a unique experience. Tom prepares specialty meals at night. So don’t worry about cooking unless you want to. They also do breakfast which looked great but we had our own supplies( unfortunately) So quiet there. In the bush with the sound of the waves just audible. St Helens is also the place to go for mountain biking. Simply fun everywhere you look. Thanks heaps. Andrew and Sheree
