Once the gentleman realized I had genuine car problems he refunded my money even though I was not asking for this. I was simply ringing him to arrange payment. I almost fell off my chair. He asked me "Are you alright!"
If you are interested in staying at a place inhabited by rude staff and feral guests then this is the place for you. I was treated indifferently at Reception booking in and just handed a key and a vague hand wave as to where the room was. Driving in to the motel compound the first sight I see is a car almost completely stripped down with crap and parts all over the ground. The room was like a trip back to the 1940's were very average fittings. Coming home after being out at night you can be accosted by vagrants who pop out of nowhere while you are trying to open your room door trying to bludge cigarettes. Some average home handyman "security surveillance" work has been done install cameras about the place which I assume are not being monitored...a pity they have used obvious asbestos clad eaves to attach them to. If you are a family looking for a cheap place to stay find somewhere else.…
Horrible staff = quite rude and dirty just shocking they are disorganised and try and charrge you more for internet price. Simply dont stay here they are shcocking nothing redeeming about the [lace at all
Stayed here for four nights while I was visiting Adelaide. Room is clean, fresh towels provided and they make your bed and replace dirty towels with clean ones, change the bin liners...and there is no designated parking lot for your car so long as you park in one of the parking lots available. There is a microwave in the room too ! The only possibly bad thing I have to say is, the room curtains don’t seem to have complete coverage over the window, as much as I tried to pull the curtains over for some privacy, there is still enough of a slit to be able to look into the space where the entrance is, the television and the power sockets (so I get a bit insecure when charging my device there because it feels like someone can look into the window and spot it) and some of the towels seem to have yellow stains on it even though it appears clean. But the location was convenient, close to the city and public transport, and it’s in a good neighbourhood. Cafes, pub, and bakeries in short walking distance. Oh and not to mention free wifi. And I’m happy with the room and bathroom size. I didn’t feel restricted when I’m in the shower either. Overall i’m Satisfied with the service and the couple (I’m really not sure if they are husband and wife, just seems like it, I apologise if they’re not) seems to be really niceness people and the person that gave me my room key made sure I knew where the wifi password is located. And I would come back again :)…
This motel is in a good location, relatively close to the city and very close to cafes and shops on King William Road in Hyde Park. It's basic but the bedding has been updated since my last stay and it's a good improvement. The bathrooms at this motel are relatively large and the showers are a generous size with plenty of hot water. Overall, it was exactly what I wanted - somewhere quiet and clean to sleep ahead of an early start to the journey to Victoria.
