What a lovely quiet peaceful place. Had the opportunity of staying here for 3 nights in our van. Staff are very welcoming hospitable and knowledgeable. Park and amenities are very clean a credit to all the staff. Pools and slide are great for all ages to cool off in on a hot day. Huge jumping pillow. Plenty of activities to keep you occupied or just sit back and enjoy the bush setting and the surrounding wildlife. Don't miss Saturday night pizza. You won't be disappointed. We had a great stay. Thank you. Ray & Jodi

The park was understaffed, the staff were rude, the park facilities are extremely run down and poor conditions. No meals being made as chef quit job and no communication from staff. The jumping pillow has no cover is super hot kids can’t use it, the pools where green by time we left, the park flooded when rained Christmas Eve, no drains for caravans to run grey water pipe into at any sights. Staff never even attended to see if campers were ok when we all got flooded on grounds. Laundry has 2 washing machine 1 dryer and only coins no card options. Toilets/ showers was hot as soon as opensed the door made you feel sick the cleanness is not there the park needs a way better management and also needs a full clean up. Maintenance is not there at all sooo much work needed. Not 1 nice garden to even look at, we traveled so far and even left a night early we where done! The cabins are not upto standards to be having people sleep in them, the aircon make a lot of noise are not cleaned or serviced, the cleanness is disgusting we even upgraded to a better cabin and no better just more money. Both cabins do not lock from the inside with a key. The park is in need of a full revamp. We won’t be back or give any good review

The park was under staffed so the service was a bit undesirable, no information was given what so ever except for a map of the park.. we almost missed out on dinner due to lack of communication.. the grounds were very dry and dusty. Water park and jumping pillow didn’t start until 9/9:30am.. all the kids in the park were up waiting by 7am! We would love to stay again, but we will it time to see if there are improvements made. It is a family friendly place and our kids loved it.

Best spot for families. The waterpark caters for young kids as well as older kids and adults, shaded areas and well set up with 3 pools. Sport hires and heaps to do outdoors for all ages. Fun wildlife experiences like kangaroos on your door steps and bird feeding. Great friendly staff. The only thing we noted for improvement was a bit more care in the cleaning but other than that it was one of my favourite holidays.

The positives: Was restful until Friday. The fish and chips were good. Mostly friendly staff. Saturday night was fairly quiet due to the kids attending Movie Night. We did not go in peak holiday time. The wildlife. The negatives. It was like an episode of KIDS GONE WILD. Whilst the park has a lot of rules regarding what children can and cannot do, most parents ignore them and the park doesn't police them. Disgusting feral toilet behaviour meant that from Friday to Monday the toilets were disgusting because the children were disgusting. Pizza's were the word I have ever had and ended up in the bin. Uncooked base and flavourless topping. Don't waste your money - very expensive. Fire wood is over priced and hard to chop. I watched many people struggle. Buy it before you go. There were many open fire pits left unattended after 10pm. Very scary practice to let happen. The wildlife. Had issues with angry male roos at night. Stop feeding them people!

Hi Trail44697947558, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with an insight into your recent stay with us. We are sorry to hear that this was your experience at BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks - Cania Gorge. In the interest of safety and an enjoyable experience for all guests, children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult when visiting the showers, toilets, playground, jumping pillow and other facilities around the park. Open fires are to be extinguished by 10 pm and all campfires must not be left unattended. We are committed to enforcing these rules and policies throughout the park. Again, we are so sorry that this was your experience with us. Should you choose to stay with us again please do not let us know of any issues so we can resolve them as soon as possible. Safe travels, Taylah

Great family-friendly park. We stayed in cabins which were well-equipped. Park reception staff very helpful and good option to have fish and chips Friday and Pizzas Saturday . There was also an outdoor movie on Saturday. Enjoyed our well signed walks in the gorge and lots of sulphuric crested cockatoos at bird-feeding each afternoon. Plenty to do for all ages.

Abused, Chased Down and our Vehicle Damaged by irate park manager! Zero star cannot be given! Looking for a place to camp with our dog in Cania Gorge we took a slow drive through the park with our dog safely secured in the back tray. Having seen the pet friendly sign and another dog at the reception we assumed this would be okay....WE WERE SO WRONG! After entering the park and slowly driving towards the back of the park we were accosted by a speeding polaris, which stopped in a clowd of dust. We were told very rudely and under no uncertain terms that we had to leave immediately as "dogs" were not allowed in the park. I questioned him about the dog I had seen at the reception. He told me that there was not such dog and that I had made it up. Confused by the senseless exchange I slowly headed towards the park exit and the reception, all while being closely tailed 'being seen off' by the man on the polaris. The dog was still sitting at the reception when I passed, so I got out of my vehicle and pointed it out to the man who was still behind us. He then mouthed something aggressively so I gave him a much deserved finger! What comes next is absolutely crazy! I hop back in my car and hear the roar of the polaris engine speeding towards our vehicle and the very busy pool area filled with familes with young children. Before I know it the man is at my car window screaming at me to get out of his park and that I'm never welcome there ever again. He couldn't explain why there was an issue with our restrained 'friendly' dog being in the pet friendly park and continued to perform like a man posessed. It was apparent that this man was the park manager by this time. My partner had joined the heated exchange by this time and further infuriated the man, who was not prepared to not have the last word. I then attempted to drive out of the park. Again, I heard the roar of the polaris engine, this time trying to cross to the passenger side to attack my partner. When I realised what was happening and concerned about the safety of the small children walking on the road I braked. The polaris then smashed straight up the back of my ute, damaging my tailgate and injuring my dog that was still tied in the back. At no point did I receive an apology from him and furthermore he did not have the common decency to return any of my messages to help organise my vehicle repair. The park also would not disclose who he was. The park itself is alright, the wildlife and water park make it...But the manager is completely unsuitable for the position he holds and detracts from an otherwise nice park.

Thank you for your recent review from your visit in January 2023. Our park does have a no dog policy at Christmas and Easter school holidays as we considered the local wildlife and balance guest experiences. We have since had a park management change and we are the new management team at the park. As we were not present during your visit, we have reached out to our support office for further clarification regarding the incident. The support office informed us that they worked with you to resolve the damage to your vehicle, which was completed back in March 2023. If you would like to visit the park again in the future, please reach out to us prior so we can ensure we are able to accommodate your dog within the park at your visit.

Worst Customer Care. We booked a specific site ahead of time so that we could keep an eye on our ADHD boy whilst on the jumping pillow. Drove 4 hours to find out that the staff stuffed up our booking. Manager could not have cared less. No apology at any time. Just offered our money back and shrugged his shoulders. Add to that a young girl who was initially handling the situation and felt we had no right to be upset, went and geed up her groundsman boyfriend who confronted my husband threatening to beat him up in front of our 9 year old son! Apparently customers are not allowed to be upset! We have been 6 times before to this park with never a problem. We were even offered a job. I work in sales and never would treat my customers with such disrespect. Disgusting!

We recently stayed at Big 4 Breeze Cania Gorge. We had a great time. The kids are still talking about the bird feeding! This park is so family friendly with so many activities to keep the whole family busy. The waterpark with the water slide and the daily bird feeding were a highlight for our kids. There were also a variety of other activities on offer too! The hikes are only a short drive away and were the perfect distances for our littles ones to get out and enjoy nature. Every Saturday night you can have a night off cooking and order wood fired pizzas. While we were waiting we even enjoyed a little wine tasting session! The pizzas were generously sized and delicious. We had enough for lunch the next day! The great thing about this park is you can enjoy a fire at your own camp site. So roasting marshmallows each night was a must for us. We highly recommend this park for a family friendly getaway.
